- Thing is, you can't skip any cutscenes in this game so the plot is going to be nailed to your brain. How the main character gains his power is explained less than 15 minutes in the game, and it isn't a virus.

I don't know about the charity part but this is what probably drove them to just screw her over. Adding her character in a game, even as a DLC for a co-op would punch quite a number in team kills.
