Reviewers say a lot of things. Doesn't make it true. Doesn't make it false either. And reviews do say the story's "inconsistent" and has "narrative problems." My problem: characters don't look believable (badly drawn), don't sound believable (badly acted and written) and, from my time with the demo, seem steeped in steriotype.
Story looks like it'd have its moments but not Goodfellas caliber. I mean, Goodfellas is near perfect....
It's like Goodfellas except it doesn't look like it has a good story. Like at all.
Main reason I'm not interested in it. Looks badly acted.

You really gotta give it to insomniac; in a time where the PS3 had no* games and was being shredded to pieces by the media, everyone was playing Resistance and it kept the PS3 alive in those first hard months. Gotta love Insomniac huh?
Hmm, I think I'll replay 1 if I get the chance. Gotta replay MGS4 (almost done replaying MGS3). If I have a window of time, I'm gonna replay my first PS3 game.

Well, a soldier getting picked to go undercover after liberating a school (or whatever that was) is pretty unrealistic.
Also they kinda ruined CoD4's ending. Soap and Cpt. Price died that day on the bridge. It's more sad that way.
But, to each their own I guess. Opinions opinions. You all probably think I'm crazy for wanting to buy Kane and Lynch 2.
It does have co op. But still, good point.

Haha, well mw2 had an okay story. But it wasn't very realistic. CoD4 had a mildly realistic story but it was intense. There are many* plot holes in mw2's script.
It had its fair share of good moments but all in all, it just felt more sloppy (especially Cpt. Price's speech at the end).
It was a decent game with a fantastical story. CoD4 is on my top 10 of this gen.
Modern Warefare 2's whole story is just kinda stupid. Pales into comparison to CoD4.
We've heard about 3 lines of dialogue from the new voice actor. Just give him a chance.
Sucker Punch always had a very unique style with visuals and voice acting, so, I don't doubt them. Especially since they're aiming so high.
And Sly 4? Well, I'll wait till I play InFamous 2 before I start asking for that, especially with the Sly Collection coming out soon.

I actually love the fact that the two leads aren't beautiful looking people. It's so different.
Yeah, there's been things that are spider/crab-like but never any actual spider things. Hope it's more crab than spider and hope it's not very realistic (<--- spider fearing guy who loves insomniac's games).
You gotta admit though, he has a point. There's bad history here and it shows.
It doesn't look like a perfect game, especially cause of the singleplayer length, but a 2? Come on, there's something wrong with this picture.
Well, I think the best boss battles were in MGS3. Replaying it and it's almost amazing how good they are.
MGS4's were really good (that one in the collapsing tower was sick) but all you had to do was just keep buying RPG ammo a lot of the time. Felt too easy.
