There are certain old games that still work. Aged well basically. Like the NES and SNES platformers.
But some are just too deep to just jump into. I'm more or less forgiving about stuff like that (I'm 18) but there are some games that, though I'm sure they were good back then, just haven't aged well.
So in a way, the article's right. And you don't have to be a troll to agree with it.

Basically all these guys do. Which is kinda sad.
Would you really wanna go down in history as the guy who contributed to all this? Isn't there anything better to do with their time?
Well said.
Hmm
Have to think a little if it really is the golden year. But LBP2 got pushed to next year. That definitely takes a coat of polish off the gold.
Haha, you really don't like this game huh?
Yep...
Plus it's annoying.
Yeah, I hope to go through life without opening a facebook. Same for twitter.
I don't care much for DS so looks like I'll live to see another day without a facebook.
Can't wait.
Oh come on, the Mario Galaxy games are basically platforming games perfected. Zelda OoT, MM and LttP are still regarded as some of the best games ever and OoT can even be seen as the Citizen Kane of games.
You can't say Nintendo isn't good.
edit: And trust me, MGS3 > all but still, Nintendo can't just be written off as nothing.
Reminds me of inFamous 2.
Except this redesign is much worse. And I never even liked DMC. This better have some perfect* gameplay or 99% of DMC fans will skip without a second thought.
"*Whoosh* over your head."
Haha, that actually made me laugh.

and @above
it never works when you explain your jokes
Yeah I really think more people would get the dlc had it been $5 as opposed to $10. Me included.
But the zombies dlc sounds interesting for two reasons. Open world zombie game = coolest idea ever that probably won't fully happen till next gen. And this quote:
"There is going to be a full-blown narrative built in to the original game that tells the story of how the infestation came about and its effect on society and the landscape....We're ad...
Haha, same.

Haha, it was a joke guys. And it was funny.
I never really imagined that we'd get it in 2010. Always imagined next year or early 2012 at worst.
Meh, still gonna get it day 1. Been wanting a zombie game.
Off topic
Amazon says LBP2 is out Jan 18, 2011. Didn't know if it was confirmed or not but yeah. Sucks...

It's playable but I can't imagine anyone* actually buying it. There's flawed games that don't score high that can still be very fun to play and then there are these kinda games.
Yeah my PS3 broke a couple years ago with my rare copy of Ico in there. Had to ship it to sony and they sent it back with the repaired console.
Yeah, no damage done but still. I always take the disk out when I'm done playing after that.
For the wii version I meant. I can imagine a lot of people will hold off buying it on the wii for awhile to see if a move version pops up.
Like all CoD games.
Would you rather online achievements?
