I heard from several gamers the 360 controller was really good for playing anything except fighting games... I can't confirm that since I didn't play with it too much. What's the gripe with it in its actual state? The D-PAD?
Yes, finding a match is really a pain... the first day I tried to play online I got a lot of "room is full" messages. WTF? I was using automatic matchmaking and I got that errors? :S
So, this is a surprise? I played that game to hell, starting when they released the game, in I think 1996 in Arcade to more recents days on emulators and Alpha Anthology for PS2.

I'm really happy to hear this. I don't want a remake. Remaking a game like this could be very dangerous for Squareenix because they have a lot of constraints to deal with: The story, gameplay elements, being "faithful" to the original game, etc. because if they go wrong or change tomany things many fans will be dissapointed.
Making a complete new game (a sequel, as I want and expect) is better for us because all the mentioned limitations don't exist.
Those graphics are terrible... they look like they were taken from a Gamecube game. Oh, come on, the Wii can perform better than that!
I don't understand why they mention animations as the cause for the "problem"... shouldn't they just adjust some values for the characters?
Taxes in Brazil are really high, so I guess the price has a justification.
Anyways, I could buy this if no other retro-gaming options existed, like VC or emulators.
