Edge do tend to like JRPGs - they gave FF12 their 2006 game of the year award.

If you expect reviews to agree with you all the time, or you want them to all say the same thing, why bother checking them?

1. Edge played the PS3 SKU for the basis for this review, so shut up.
2. Edge uses the WHOLE SCALE for its reviews. Unlike many American sites, such as IGN, which have a 1-10 scale focussing on the top end, like the American school grading system.
3. This is someone's opinion, as all reviews. If you play the game and enjoyed it more than the rev...

Some of the staff can be quite helpful, but the majority are inadequately trained fools.

I can't believe you're arguing about scores from reviews you've never read, in a magazine that has a full 10 scale, about games you've probably never played.

EDGE is the most venerable, respected magazine in the industry. Can most of you even read? Even for places like IGN with some terrible writers (Nate Ahearn? Where the hell did they get that guy from), you only look at the score and still argue about degrees of difference with your own opinion.

How is this related to gaming at all?

Patrick Klapek
Sean Molloy
Che Chou

And I'm sure there are others.

If Shane leaves...

Also, only John has stuck around for podcasts.

But we did get some people back! Giancarlo Varanini and Thierry Nguyen!

Not only is it not related to gaming, it's bull anyway. It's a damn beta test.

This is the fundamental problem with this site. It allows things like this, a fan-made trailer, to be broadcast as news.

It sickens me that there are several people here who think this is the actual game.

Sony co-developed Neon/Ego with Codemasters. It's built on PlayStatation Edge, now called Phyre-Engine, which Sony made for closs-platoform awesomeness. Therefore, I'd assume, like Colin McRae: DiRT, the game runs just as good if not better on PS3.

IT'S FROM STUFF MAGAZINE. I'VE READ THE DAMN ARTICLE!

That's from "Stuff" and it's merely an artist's impression of what it could look like.

This is neither news nor relevant.

PS3 games cost 70 euros. 45 euros isn't too bad, but I thought they announced it would be free.

3/5 =/= 6/10. YOU CANNOT DIRECTLY TRANSLATE THE SCORE LIKE THAT.

Seriously, do you think we can't do basic math, or do you wish to condemn the game like every other fanboy?

The game engine for Codemasters, the Neon Engine, was developed by Codemasters and Sony. That includes the Xbox360 version of the game. It's optimised for PS3, and Codemasters have openly said that the PS3 version runs better.

That was at the expense of a couple of months, though.

God, this site is full of false information. It was 1 year ago, at E3 2006.

IT'S CALLED JET SET RADIO NOT JET GRIND RADIO YOU SILLY AMERICAN PEOPLE.

Oh, and with Smilebit gone and the fact that Sega WON'T shell out for another Shenmue, this is almost 100% definitely fake.

God there are some complete idiots on this place posting absolute random rubbish as news. We knew this BEFORE E3! It has a 20GB HDD but it also has a HDMI PORT!

Argh.

WOW, THIS IS NOT NEWS! Kojima Pructions Report talked about the multi-player side of MGS4 ages ago!
