Last i checked VGchartz said MGS4 sold 3.1M when actually it sold 4.33M.
Its true that there are more gamers that hate Gears2 then those who love it , this is true for about every game , no game has over 50% attach rate so there are always more gamers that don't like a game than those that do.
As far as Gears2 goes , gameplay is good , story(???) one of a kind? you are joking right MGS games , Zelda games , FF games all have better stories(the list goes on and on) , as far as MP its good but not as good as the first one(no lobbies WTF?).

I guess Wii games like Wii sports and Wii play are the best games of all then ,Huh.
PS - MGS4 is a niche title , that is in a smaller install base, it also didnt have half the publicity MS is giving Gears2.
I still dont know why everibody calls gears1 GOTY , games like Zelda:Tp , Oblivion , Company of Heroes and even FFXII were above Gears1 in a lot of the GOTY 2006 lists.
Im not trying to be a troll here, but you do know that Valve games are always better on Pc , good on the 360 and sucky on the PS3(Gabe Newell refuses to let his programers learn how to program for the PS3 , WTF?).
EA would do the port , and even though they have proven that they can work on the PS3 , i doubt they would do a good job with this game.

I have seen better looking screens than this one's , quality is very bad
Two years ago of course it looked amazing , but now after games like MGS4 , Uncharted and Mass Effect(just to name a few) GeoW 2 lost the "wow" effect.
Adding Socom and not adding Metal Gear Solid 4 to the big hitters list= insta fail to me.
I would like Mass Effect (but already have it on Pc) and Diablo III(never played but there seems to be a lot of hype around the first two so i would like to try it).

you knew the way Eurogamers score games(EG.pt at least) you should know that a 10/10=/=the perfect game(no perfect game exists) it just means its the best in its genre and the tiny flaws are seriously outweighed by how good the game is.
Should have kept that for the OpenZone now you are probably going to loose some bubbles.

OMG , you are the best MGS player ever , there are 9+ of cutscenes(9:15-9:30 most likely) yet you managed to do it in 10h , you finished the game in 40m , *bows* you are my hero.
It took me 24h to finish the game on my 1st playthrough , wich is about 15h of gameplay , i finished Gears of War faster than that cutscenes included(even though there are few).
Im on my 25th playthrough , so along with MGO i have probably clocked over 200h on this game...

I mean just look at The Witcher , it might not have top notch textures but the art work really makes the world feel believable unlike some games that have top notch graphics but the worlds seem false.
As for killzone2Vs Gears of War2 i have to say i favor KZ2 not only it has better graphics but the art direction is also better IMO.
I don't like the UT3 look of Gears never have never will.
