I had both a 360 and ps3 and would go with 360 on multiplats 90% of the time for that reason, the ps3 was mainly for exclusives. For this gen, ease of development favors the ps4 so it will be my go to console for both exclusives and multiplats. And obviously, if you want top tier performance, you go with a pc.
Let's hope they actually market the Vita slim when it releases this time around, unlike the 1000, where they just released it and let it fend for itself.
If they ever enter the console market I hope they get absolutely destroyed. We don't need their brand of "gaming".
Now if only Koller could get his ass in gear and market the Vita, we could see a steady increase in sales.
They haven't patched it yet, that update will come out after the offline botzone/new multiplayer maps patch.
1. No separate games tab in menu bar to prevent clutter.
2. No music file support, I don't like being forced to have Music Unlimited to play music in-game.
3. Surprisingly no Vita content manager and store for a companion device.
4. No video file support outside of PlayStation store downloads. Can't play anything from usb or transfer from USB to ps4.
I'm sure that most of these will be addressed in future updates. Mp3 support is al...
The old one has a superior display and build quality, but I really like this Slim's more ergonomic design along with a smaller back touch panel and and micro USB port. I hope the third redesign has the slim body and charging port, a one piece front panel (not that ugly slim panel that only covers the screen), the build quality of the 1000, oled display, and internal memory options of 32gb and 64gb, that would be my dream vita.
Oh snap!
I think a subscription rate of $7.99 would be about right, akin to Netflix.
Down voting this crap site, the article is a joke.
Until I see a new Metroid, Zelda, Super Smash Bros, I'm going to hold off on buying one. Super Mario 3d world looks fantastic but that's only one game, the WiiU definitely needs a fuller library. Nintendo should also revive F-Zero and Starfox.
It pisses me off that SCEA doesn't advertise the Vita at all in the states. You know they just don't care when even their flagship titles, Killzone and Tearaway, aren't even marketed in the least. If they think they're saving money by not properly marketing the device they're fooling themselves.
I hope they update the UI in the future to add a games icon in the main menu bar in which your entire game library is organized. As it is, it will only grow more cluttered as one's collection grows.
I was expecting Shadow Fall to be the best Killzone to date, but it was kind of a disappointment. I personally liked Mercenary better. Oh well, there's Tomb Raider, Rayman, and finally Infamous coming soon.
There are waayy too many SJWs trying to perpetuate controversy where there is none.
So beat in fact that Michael Bay walked off stage at Samsung's event when asked about the curve. I kid.
Except that the weakest console this gen is the Wii U and its sales are dismal, also this is the first time that the most powerful console is cheaper than its direct competitor.

Shadow Fall was the weakest Killzone I've played, Mercenery was better.
I'd guess Halo 5.
