You didn't fall for the Destiny hype but you fell for the Titanfall hype, which basically falls into the same criticisms that Destiny suffered. It's just that MS definitely paid for all those scores, it's almost a certainty now.

Amazing how quickly people have turned their backs on Destiny, it's not even all that bad. I'm certainly having fun with it, but I'm not ignorant of the flaws it has. Digital only is great, but only if everything needed is up to par. Right now only a few have the ideal location and service, a lot of people (including myself) aren't so fortunate and it's not a case of being poor. However moving to another city or town just for better internet service is highly ridiculous. If gaming goes digital only anytime soon, a lot of gamers will be alienated, thus a huge loss of sales.
If you have the money to waste or are a huge fan, by all means. However I think only one version would be good enough, I'll pick up the Wii U one since I don't have a 3DS.

Its pretty much the only direction gaming can go. If you think about it, game-play wise, it hit its stride during the PS2 days. We've been playing the same thing just with the obvious increase of tech. Blowing up the environment and running, jumping, etc off the side of buildings can only be done so much before its also added to the list.
Congrats Activision and Bungie, even though I despise Activision, I decided to pick Destiny up because of Bungie, so far I like it.

9 is too high, though I'm also enjoying the game. I would say 7 or 8 is much more realistic. Scores of 9 should be for phenomenal games, while scores of 10 should be for pretty much perfection, which is rare. Too many reviewers handing both out lately for less deserving games though.
