Its not so much what he's done as what he has said......he's giving gamers hope unlike the last guy and frankly he's making maneuvers to put the Xbox 1 on the right track.......you'll feel the full effect of Phil's accomplishments a year from now.

Whoa breakpad, no need to jump to anti-microsoft sentiments, I wouldn't blame them for the industries downward slide. I would blame it on blatant capitalization with as minute an effort at providing a desirable product as possible.
Also sunset overdrive is pretty interesting, no need to cast it in with the rest of the recycling just because it is MS exclusive.
Think about it........gamers haven lost the passion, we are just sick of devs feeding off our passion. Season passes, micro transactions, broken releases, demos and betas locked behind 60$ games, milking of unnecessary remasters, motion control games, cut content then resold, bad ports.......its never ending.
Games like bloodborne are few and far between (no season pass, no announced dlc, no preorder doc, works at launch, bursting with content and replayabilty, great atmosphe...
Also you have to look at sonys mistakes last gen, the ps3 launching a year later with a 200$ more price point than the 360 was just crazy. Yet they managed to turn it all around and take the lead back after so long, all while being more expensive.
That was Microsoft's chance and they just sat there and rode their success instead of capitalizing on the opportunity.
Sony let the success of the ps2 make them arrogant last gen but not this time, they are fina...
