I've been watching someone play it and have noticed the same problems... and heard about them when he screams obscenities at the TV. It's too bad that they aren't supporting the multi-player aspect better. It would probably add a lot to the game.
Great points... Many time gamers, including developers, forget the importance of narrative in games. But when you list the "good" games, they tend to have the best narratives, with a few exceptions. And YAH for book worms!
Wrestling is so gimmicky... Marcus Fenix is awesome, wrestling/wrestlers are not.

Appears to be another "looks are deceiving" deal. The game looks awesome, but... if the whole package isn't there, pretty isn't enough to make it a good game.

A Cory blooper? I thought he was perfect... my image is shattered. Anyway... The Sims 3 doesn't need to be advertised at all. Just mention to all the rabid Sims fans that another one is coming out and they'll buy it. They do that with the expansions. It seems like every time you go into a store, there is a new one.
