The cpu helps the gpu retard, if there's alot of textures the CPU gives the GPU a push to read the information alot faster. so you can cram in sharper textures so the CPU can help.

The ps3 is outselling 360 now, because 40% of the new released and "improved" x-box consoles burned up, leaved the Microsoft consumers to one hardcore console to try out. Ps3. With more than 13 exclusive hyped titles coming up, I think the ps3 is going to shine allot longer than what some people think. PSP, and Playstation 2 is still two hot purchases.
