Well, when your bragging that your next gen console is by far superior graphically than the other next gen consoles and you bring out a game like SOCOM which should have top notch graphics and it doesnt, well yeah theres a serious problem. The graphics are poor to todays standards thats for sure.
And yes it does look like a PS2 game totally. This game is going to get swept under the rug quick just because it wont live up to the hype like GEARS 2 and RESIST ME2.

I think Namcos reasoning behind that was that POS3 online strategy was a epic fail and didnt match up to the business and marketing model that Namco had in mind for Ace Combat 06. You know is it just me or does Socom for POS3 look like a PS2 game??? the graphics dont look any better than Socom 3 honestly. Maybe if I take my beer goggles off it will look a little better. Gotta love the power of the "CELL".
Blu-Ray is like a cancer that is slowly spreading and will be the demise of Sony in the long run. They should of never integrated it into the console itself. If they were to come out with a PS3 without a BD player I would definetly buy one.
