you know what screw home, just give me the accomplishments with the gamer score type thing, trophies on the XMB and the In-Game XMB, like Home looks neat and all but they keep shooting them selves in the foot with this thing oh and by the time it is out I'm not gonna have the space on my ps3 to install it to many mandatory installs, like don't get me wrong I'm the biggest Sony fan but some things just need to be implemented a little faster
then just release it now if it's gonna be in beta form anyways, god damn

so anyways has anyone here imported one from japan and has also bought one from here, what i have personally noticed between the two is that the north american one is slightly heavier like were talking a few grams maybe not that much heavier and the rumble is a touch stronger and the motors sound a little louder in the NA one compared to the jp one, just wondering if anyone else has also noticed this

ok tested myself i did notice a change
i own a 40 gb ps3
what i noticed i tested with FFX
before on firmware 2.10 it didn't even say it was a playstation 2 disc it didn't even say that there was anything in the drive before
but now with 2.17 it says theres a disc it's listed under the games menu on the xmb all it says when you click it is it's not compatible but thats different then before, the fact is it can see it's a ps2 disc unlike before so maybe it's on the way ...
the ps3 start-up is the best, love it, it's soothing the flowing in the background the orchestra tuning ahhh relaxing
the reason why i never buy CE versions of games is cause the case is often oversized and then they look strange in my library i like it to be neat and tidy

Either Does the arcade version for BC you need a hard drive to play original Xbox games, at least I can play ps1 games on the 40 GB lets me go back to the days of playing FF7 & 8 oh yeah!!!
i remember the days playing Starcraft in internet cafes and and playing with random on and the people that always got Zerg would always say GOD DAMMIT!!! right at the start of the game, are those days over maybe? we'll See i guess, but either way Terran Owns All
