when i saw the pic, i thought it was Bioshock Infinite for a brief moment lol.
surely it has to be water. considering the amount of effort gone into the weather mechanics. its also something he could absorb from the world just like the smoke and neon. makes perfect sense to me.
if they feel it isnt needed, then dont waste resources and man power on making single player. seems logical to me.

tbh, a lot of these comparisons are at completely different times of the day.
they arent long. its how they happen so frequently. i may have phrased that wrong. sorry about that :P i find its worse when freely exploring the city more than anything. you can end up getting about 4 or 5 loading screens getting from one side of the map to the other.
been really enjoying these. gives an awesome glimpse into the creation process. i would love it if one day they do this with a game like The Last of Us. like a monthly look at how the game has progressed. i know it would be hard on a game like that since it takes years to make, but it would be very interesting.

id personally give this game an 8. its a great game for a lover of the stealth genre. the loading times are annoying though and having to find the door to replay a chapter is becoming very annoying since the map doesnt show where they are.
i dont mind kinect as long as it isnt over used where it isnt needed. maybe use kinect to just stroke the piñatas like in kinectimals or something. or to swing a stick at them might be fun. using kinect to navigate the game would piss me off though im sure.
id LOVE to see a new Viva Piñata. such awesome games on 360 and would give Rare a break from shitty kinect focused games.
