Your reply to me was basically just a jumble of words, especially the highly random statement at the end about SJWs.
“You're a huge fan, even of V? So you acknowledge in one fell swoop V was a weaker entry and then try and hit me with this nonsense?”
My point exactly; yes. I see no issue with criticizing V. However, consigning something like that to just “trash” is transparent internet tough guy-ism. I already did “come at” you. If it were a game tha...
Calling V trash shows how spoiled and full of faux tough guys the internet has become. Not your cup of tea? Story didn’t do it for you? Okay. But trash? The game is full of blood/sweat/tears of its makers and does what it set out to do very well. To consign a huge ambitious system like MGS V to a single-word, rude dismissal is so pathetic.
I totally agree. Am a huge fan, even of V, but these trailers just make me go “uh okay.”
Someday it’ll release. I’ll read the reviews and proceed accordingly. These trailers are crazy as hell but do nothing for me. If anything they’re rather off-putting, because I prefer a more grounded setting like MGS, rather than over-zither-top insanity like Killer7.
But I’m open to it. No thanks to the silly trailers.
This is barely literate. Retry.
Honestly! How this can be an actual story promoted by a major site like n4g — it’s beyond me. Did you guys read it beyond the headline snippet? It’s written so amateurishly. It’s just an unprofessional illiterate rant.
Please....
I understand the sentiment you’re expressing. Sometimes I get caught up in the reviews of a game I don’t care about and end up buying something I don’t really like, and it’s important to remember that and be rational instead of irrational.
On the other hand the style of the article is trying far too hard with the cursing and insulting and stupid this and shitty and that. I won’t say you’re necessarily trying to troll people into latching onto the style of your insincere and...
Well, I have to say, you are right.
Though I sense shenanigans, as I did not see that there before. That said... you win this around and get a bubble.
He has mentioned no date and hasn't confirmed anything. Even if he had vaguely mentioned bringing it back, this article contains no sources yet masquerades as if it's new information, which everyone here is buying.
EDIT: "If you even bothered to look for the source you wouldve found it." It is not the reader's responsibility to look for sources of an article. It is the writer's.
Can't believe you guys are buying this again.
It may still happen, but this article is unsourced nonsense.
The article has no source for this "news" and is most likely BS.
Just like the last such article on N4G (which almost everyone here bought wholesale for some reason).
I don't normally comment on N4G, but the fact that you guys bought this story as if it were factual and not BS is really sad.
"Couchjockeyz"? You are going to trust their word that they asked a "Sony rep" and got some solid info about such a specific thing? Really?
The fact that the article is written in awful broken English should be another clue.
Use your critical thinking skills, people. This is complete BS.
The original is my favorite game of all time, and I have huge hopes for this remake.
That said, the interview is based on a false premise.
"At the same time, long-time FPS fans who preferred the more complex version of the genre that existed before Halo's linear, two-gun design look to Halo as the game that ruined the FPS."
That's wrong. The FPS staples before Halo -- ones that pretty much any mainstream FPS was based ...
Right. And the source for these data is where?
7.3, huh? Are you sure it's not more of a 7.319112?
THANKS SO MUCH for spoiling key moments of Reach *and* for spoiling a huge plot point of Red Dead Redemption. Very helpful of you.
Whatever happened to common sense? How about consideration?
Of course it’s not. It’s an incredibly complex game with many advanced systems working together to result in a very unique and fun experience. The story, that is controversial; definitely needs a damned story DLC but is painful as the finale. I understand anger about the story (though personally I still found it rather exciting and thought provoking). But to be trash it’d just have to be worthless on every level. Not the case here.
