Same here, it may not had all the best tracks in one package, but it sure had the best offensive/defensive play style balance.
I completely agree, for the same reasons. As soon as I saw the screens, I was like pass. Heavenly Sword was a good game, Enslaved just looks like left overs of the series trying to be in another universe, IDK.
I thought they were skipping this one in favor for Virtua Fighter 5 Final Shodown.
I love this series, KOF xii was lacking, but out of all the fighters hat came out, they nailed the presentation the best.
My affinity for SF/SNK runs very deep, good to see them expand on a good formula.
I think there will be a lot more charcacters, cause in the intro it shows Rose, Adelheids sister, and the rest of the Hakkeshu.

I do love the 2 side scroller versions a lot too , but for them turning the world 3D, I think Retro nailed it.

Yes the music is outstanding
Yes the City is very imaginitive.
I have some major gripes with it but at least it's not some of the older RPG's that have come out this Gen.
Multiplayer yes.
I'm not hating on Halo, but I can think of a ton more games w/better single player experience

I think the only flow w/the Prime series was in Echoes the stupid backtracking at the end. In Corruption the last boss fight was really weak.
I really like Perfect Dark 64's world.
Good to see Bungie force open the story in Halo ODST, and change up some of the mechanics. The new gameplay options are a nice edition to the series, especially for balance.
Killzone 2 was cool, hated the first one, probably due to the PS2 not really protraying the gam...

No offense to anyones taste, but Resonance of Fate is a complete ball of Boo Boo. Are we really that starved this Gen, I play that trash and can't believe my eyes. I had this game at the edge of my radar, forgetting about it till it came out. Tri Cresendo does a better job than Tri-Ace and they used to be the same entity.
That game is a no go.

Sony being a multimedia company, pushes some of the most spectacular games out once their consoles get some liquid swartz in them.
I'm looking forward hugely this year for E3/TGS, on all sides. I just hope they skip the sales talk portion this time around and show more games on a world stage front.

God of War 3 is the most graphically impressive console game ever. Not that I cared to oogle the Graphics alone, but when they express the tale of Greek Gods proportions that were unimaginable, come on.
I love the Mortal Kombat, Max Payne, & Devil May Cry homages at the end while/after fighting Zues.
It's gonna be nigh impossible to top that this year, personally speaking.
Can't the game just be fun, and for an old IP. Hell I was skeptical, but $Hit it does look fun.
I will add this to the list of Pre-Orders.
