and this is probably just my ignorance with not knowing what exactly Kinect is made of, but what does PrimeSense have to do with anything? I actually watched that first video, which in all honestly looks to much like a promo video and completely staged to a ridiculous degree. I saw that guy order pizza and I had to turn it off. Did PrimeSense create a part of the Kinect camera?
I too read IGN's 5 concerns article and they mentioned the thing about natal having trouble pic...

I had a 360 first and for a while convinced myself that I don't need a PS3, but I caved and have been in gaming nervana ever since. If you are looking for an awesome game for cheap then you should check out Heavenly Sword. It was a launch title and is on the short side (5 hours) but it's got great characters, voice acting and is just fun. Feel free to PM me for other suggestions or if you are lookin for psn friends. in the end when the post-E3 dust has settled, the fans will be left with games. Sony has always boasted amazing libraries since PS1, and while this was a strong point for MS, it's clear Sony is on it's way back to the top.
I have never played ICO or SOTC but I've heard nothing but praise for both games. I'm beyond excited for this collection. I get to play those two games for the first time in HD!!! How awesome. I knew Sony would bring the games this year.
basically sums up exactly how I feel. Wow, I couldn't agree more. I have been saying I'm tempted to sell my Xbox360 now that I've seen what the future holds for the brand. We'll see I guess, maybe they will throw in some surprises besides the usual (full disclosure: I was addicted to Gears 1).
I agree with both you guys, my xbox is sitting in the corner in the fetal position after the lashing I just gave it. Sure I felt bad after I did it, but my xbox disrespected me and I can't stand for that type of behavior!
You better be in this thread after Sony's conference tomorrow. I will be you my lunch they will show off some new IP's from first party devs and maybe 1 or 2 games for the Move aimed at the hardcore. Yes, there will be plenty of casual stuff but Sony will still make games for their hardcore audience and not focus 99% of their attention on Move like MS is doing with Kinect.

so there aren't any games I'm interested in besides Gears 3. I have been thinking about trading in my Xbox360 (before it RROD's) and to know the future is bleak in terms of games that interest me, it makes trading in the console a easier decision.

How can anyone on this website (lets admit something straight away, if you are on this website, then you are a core gamer) be touting Kinect? How can you say, this isn't for me, its for casuals? I don't understand how that is something to be happy about. I'd be annoyed if my console of choice decided to ditch me in what is their next big project.
MS needs the people who already own an Xbox to buy into Kinect. No way MS puts enough of a dent into the casual market ...
