and no buttons.
so this means it is 100 times worse then we could have possibly imagined. I wonder what Peter smokes to come up with these fantasies of his.
skittlles!!!! skittles!!! SKITTLLES!!! where are you Skittles? Oh there you are! (bang heard in distance, little girl screams, elmer fud walks on screen, little girl sobs hysterically) What i'm hunting wabbits, opps shot the wong one.
i don't think they should have not aimed for the wider market at all but they have nothing at all to fall back on. I wouldn't call an on-rails Star Wars game exactly hardcore, nor would I call a dancing game that. and there is no way that game won't be on rails as kinect has no method of movement ala a joystick
Microsoft, go watch this video, http://www.youtube.com/watc...
what i really think is funny, they are trying to lure in the wii crowd but there is one problem there. Most of the wii crowd already owns a wii, and don't get why they need a different more expensive console when they think the wii is perfectly good. They are a dollar short and a day late with Kinect. They have made it clear that Kinect is mainly for the casual gamer. Why Move is just a wii clone at least they are making an attempt to bring some core games to it. If Kinect fails with the ...
I heard Becky Worley, on Tech News Today on TWiT and of Good Morning America(hmmmmmmmm, swore i just read Good Morning America somewhere), just ooze about how amazing Kinect was. She said is was so neat and amazing. He co-host, a know gamer, looked like he wanted to puke. She went on about how cute the Tiger was and how much fun the river rafting game was. She even called it precise. Who wants to guess if she was scripted too. She did get to demo it on Good Morning America monday morning.
yeah they did, most of the kinect games.
yeah, thats what he, meant. VALVe will have controls over their updates.
just remember the psp is 6 years old and the devs are super familiar with it, The 3DS is brand new, not even out. Devs will learn the ins and outs and it will likely get much better.
microsoft is charging for online access. when you have an xbox 360 you pretty much have to pay the money. The Playstation Plus is above and beyond what is already on. You are in no way ever required to pay for Playstation Plus, unlike Xbox Live.
i really don't think they were watching the same conference that I was. My mom even thought that Kinect looked stupid and she is the target audience. Today was just sad. That free Xbox must have done the trick.
sites such as cnet.com still rate the PS3 as one of the best quality blue-ray player on the market. Most players that approach the PS3 cost around 150-200. Also those $60 players don't include the newest BD-Live standard.
is anyone else kind of disturbed by those outfits they are wearing in the last photo?
well they have been limiting themselves by having some models with HDD and some without, so to have a better camera in one or to have more features in one would be keeping in line with that.
everyone loves some video game industry arrogance. Microsoft, did you not watch sony's e3 '06 press event? do you not remember what happened to the ps3? They lost money, and lots of it. Do you want to repeat them, because if you do, i"ll be watching saying told you so.
I think "VALVe time" is a pile of crap. They have started to use it as an excuse. I agree, my faith has been hurt in them to some extent. While the games they have released since 2007 have been good, I really want them to release something that reminds me of the old days of VALVe.
I just feel that they have in a way brainwashed the American gaming market. The best selling games in the U.S. are now FPS's and what console has the most of those. Japanese games haven't done well because they do their own thing. Alan Wake is a great game but selling like crap in the U.S. because the average Xbox owner just wants to blow stuff up. The throw huge spectacle press conferences and I fell like they just forget about the gamer. This is the position that Sony started the PS...
that pretty much hits it on the head. Microsoft has done nothing this gen but pay big bucks to get all of the exclusive content, timed exclusives, and to make games go multi-platform. a rumored $70 for GTAIV and expansions that hit PC and PS3 anyone? I'm mean how much do you think they paid just for the MW2 map packs to be timed exclusive. Going on how much Activsion likes money, i'm guessing alot
if you think about it, Every Kinect game will have to be on rails, it has no viable means of moving a character through an environment. and microsoft would lose face if they were to announce a moving peripheral because the have been so adamant about no controller.
