The other 2 carmines died, he has to live, he is the last of his bloodline. He has to blow through the last boss before Marcus gets stomped...he comes out of nowhere with a shotgun and blasts him in half. Microsoft does not. Ouch. All multiplat games can be played on ps3 for free with a better controller(both comfortably and doesn't disconnect in middle of match). My Xbox is used for OCASSIONAL gears and giving my ps3 well deserved rest from playing long intervals.
If they sold the game without that crappy campain I'd pay $60 for the game like mag(online only) I'll buy map packs until they start being lame. But I won't pay more than $9.99 for a mappack. Map packs are usually the ones cut from the game anyway.

Good point. Microsoft is laying off more people, that ain't good. They're always trying to cut deals on gold memberships all my friends are offline(alot of friends). Can't move old consoles(big BIG surplus), no more hype, other than gears 3 no good games coming and may I add gears is either love it or hate it with gamers. Oh yeah kinect. They already have a loyal fanbase that is willing to pay why throw all that money away? I think if they lowered it the current fans would be even more grateful, and it would bring in all the cheapskates, (who doesn't have $1.80 a month?!) They'd probably make the same money or maybe even a little more but it would expand their online gamer count causing them to sell more map packs and online games...and it might force sony to lower psn +.
