2D keeps it nice and simple. My fav fighting games have all been in 2D. SSFT2, MK3, MVC2 and CVS2.

Don't trust any company, i don't. Some companies are certainly more trustworthy then others, but at the end of the day they always want to make themselves look good. I take everything with a pinch of salt.
