Damn...these guys had it tough, they are just unlucky.
This is off topic, but why was Killzone 3 advertised as free to play when it was only a trial that ended after level 10?
Paying is optional? You can't play if you don't pay. F2P means you never have to pay to play. but you probably have limits on what you can do. YOu can always play though. KZ3 trial(F"P apparently) does not let you play anymore once you reach level 10. You must pay to continue playing.
"I'm trying to figure out how ME3 is getting so many free passes"
Really? Asking that in this day and age? Anyhow, ME3 did not do anything ME2 hasn't done already in terms of interactive storytelling.
Also, Heavy rain is just an interactive story so...
FF versus 13 team was hard at work.....working on information about what they've made so far.
When the arthritis stops you
Only a few new ones though. What really attracts me to this is the new battle mechanics. I felt like UNS1 and 2 had no depth. This one is looking to have some.
They both suck. Acti control cod = suck
Todd howard = Liar
Does no one remember this? http://www.youtube.com/watc...
What does it matter? Mass effect 3 is what it is. Good game **** ending.
....she took part in AC2 as well. And AC 1 was a flawed gem, fixed up to a gem with AC2.
Without AC1 there would be no AC2. AC2 was only an improvement on the formula set down by 1. That's why AC1 is a flawed gem.
It's like the Uncharted series set of improvements. Only AC was much more ambitious.
I disagree with Kaveti about New Vegas, I felt the map was much better and more focused. it was a real RPG too with choice and consequence. It had NO level scaling which is what ruins bethesda games for me. The side quests were superior imo. Each area of the map had something specific to do with a larger side quest. I never even finished the main story of either F3 or NV though so I can't comment, I can say though that Bethesda can't do stories well at all juding from Oblivion and Sky...
Maybe now they'll realize how much Gamerscore didn't matter
While I also agree games can be just as emotional. Kara was not a game. It was a Tech demo. It was a few minute long cutscene. It's a 'movie' Not a game.
Also, I think these devs mean games...as in gameplay and narrative in a game. Anything emotional that happens in a cutscene may as well be a movie.
@MariaHelFutura
Ico and Ico 2 are great example's of were the devs are wrong in the article, it is hard to deliever emotion with gameplay...
Versus XIII! Even though it is probably a joke that got out of hand
No Garrus...article is invalid
Poor guy, getting his Xbox replaced by an inferior relic
Reusing textures and content.
No point in comparing the Pc version.
Also, yeah more stuff in the 360 version, more detail in the textures, i'm noticing a little more jaggies in the 360 too though, the Ps3 version blurs out some texture detail and some jaggies I think.
So what was this? Simply a design choice? Colors are darker on 360 version as usual.
Too late for me, the games ending was featured on it
Edit---actually moegooner i've heard it is more or less fixed. It's like the reaper attacking the citidel in ME1. Your choices can't ever change that. There are only small differences 'apparently'
Oh, I could say the same for ME1 to ME2 as well. What was actually different? Nothing much
The games don't have to be unrelated. Just handled well. Halo 1,2,3 did it well, although alot of people disliked the 2 ones ending. But I don't know what they were expecting?
