Personally, given what we lose in going digital(lending/trading, actually owning the disc with it's nice case and booklet) I think we should be getting every game at least a week prior to release. And in the event people get their copies early, our digital copies should be unlocked as well.
Personally feel like those of us who bought the handsome collection should get this free.
I loved titanfall. And I think the split there is a good comparison to kojima now. West and zempalla left activision quite abruptly and were barred from contact with the employees there. Still around half of their team quit their positions with activision and some even mortgaged their homes to go work at Respawn and get titanfall out the door. If a sizable chunk of konami enoloyees follow kojima like that, then this is a huge hit to the companies future in gaming.
It really depends on how this all plays out. Kojima is a master storyteller and a visionary in gaming, but konami has hundreds of employees that actually made these games. He's not the only piece of the puzzle. But if this ends up like the Jason West and Vince Zempalla situation with Activision, then maybe it's a bigger deal than Konami even realizes.
I'd also like to see it offered like the 360 was a few years back with that 2 year xbox live contract deal. Maybe $99 for the box, then $15/month for two years including live.
First, I think a discless all digital sku is a perfect addition, as long as it's just that, an addition and not replacement. Any way to get a cheaper Xb1 that will sell better is fine by me.
Second, even if it is being made, wouldn't Phil kinda have to deny it until the last minute, just to make sure current sales dont take a nosedive from those that are willing to wait for the new sku?

Pretty much every game you's listed, and Tony hawk 2x. Played that more than I played skyrim, which was well over 300 hours.
900p is fine as long as you have a good upscaler. Ryse on XB1 looked great, Battlefield 4 on ps4 looked solid at 900p. That said, I'm getting MGSV on ps, just because I played all the others there. My XB1 is my primary gaming platform, evidenced by the massive difference in games owned for each system, but some things just feel right on PlayStation.
Question, does anyone else wish sony would make a third party dev make a game 900p on ps4 just to show gamers what 50% diff...

That file size isn't accurate. I tweeted @RareLtd last week to question it because the 360 games alone were twice that size and they responded saying the 360 games are downloaded seperately through backwards compatibity.
Rare replied to my tweet about the size saying that the small install is the core pack, the 360 games will be downloaded separately as they are now backwards compatible.
I don't see why doom can't look that good upon release. I mean, I remember Rage looking amazing on id tech 5, and doom runs id tech 6 which is designed to be the highest of high end. Don't get me wrong, it won't look that good on ps4/xb1, but on a sufficiently powered pc it should be able to pull it off.
Maybe if the $400/500 1tb model comes down to $350/450 once the current 500gb stock runs out, but even then the change would be minimal at best.
Sink sony? I have xb1, ps4 and a gaming pc. I prefer my xb1 for most games simply due to the number of real world friends I have that own the system, but c'mon, a football game will sink sony! Wtf are you on. I dont believe any one game, except maybe grand theft auto, could actually tip the scales in anyones favor. I expect microsoft to take over american sales numbers before all's said and done, but they will still end up no less than 20 million sales less than ps4 at the end of the ...
But the aw bundle had kinect, and mcc comes with the $350 xb1 at a lot of places still. I can only assume the price in this is a place holder. No way microsoft would give up the momentum they've managed to build by hiking the price now.
Ign has a story about this as well. The interesting thing is that they say its $400. Sounds a bit like a $50 price increase if they arent including the kinect

I don't think they need to stop remasters, but they need to change them. First I'd say only release them in the slower months, like over the summer and maybe right after the holiday. That way they aren't competing with our big new titles. Second, pricing. Single remaster, $30 tops. Remaster collection, $40. Never price them at the level our new games are.
