I have to agree with the software thing. I do not care which console is stronger than the other. It is all about the games for me. I bought the 360 when it first came out because i though it had the better game lineup, but when ps3 started to hit its stride with games, and when I saved up the money, I bought the ps3. I never got the Wii because it does not have enough games I am interested in, but I have hopes for the next nintendo console. This goes the same for the next generation of consol...
@stickskills
Microsoft only publishes Gears, but Epic owns the IP. Epic signed a publishing contract stating that so many of the gears games will be exclusive to xbox and that is why you will not see the first 3 Gears games on ps3, but once the contract is up, they can make a Gears game for any system. The difference between Halo and Gears is that Bungie actually sold the Halo IP to Microsoft and thus do not own the franchise anymore and that is why Bungie cannot release it o...
It is a PC review. The PC version just released.
I still prefer Gears 1. I am glad that they are doing a beta for Gears 3. Maybe they will fix some of the issues that I have experienced while playing. It is really fun, but I still just prefer the darker griminess of the first game, and a lot of the gameplay aspects that have been removed in Gears 2 and now Gears 3. It is a good game so far, but I just like Gears 1 better.
$1 Billion? Really? That is just ridiculous.
I am glad it is doing good. I love the mp. It is an all around good game.
We just started doing video reviews, and will be doing separate reviews for all other games that come out when we can. We will be doing a separate review of Crysis 2 for instance, so just calm down. We just added a new guy who does video reviews, and so we will be taking advantage of it now. This is something new for use and Homefront just happened to be the first game we did after the guy joined. So calm down and wait. We will be doing separate reviews for all major games coming up.
did you read the article? He claimed not to have a psn account, but Sony proved he did.
the thing that pissed me off about this was that they bragged how nothing on consoles looks better or will look better than crysis 2 and when you talk crap like that, you better back it up.
you are totally right. It was like that in the last game as well.
well if you want a real challenge, then you can do the hardcore mode on Torchlight. You only have one life for the whole game.
They are all available from the beginning.
yes, they never said it was not coming to everyone. In fact, they said it would be available to everyone, but people who bought the Epic edition will get it early.
Okay, fair enough, but at the same time if you are a true racing fan, you look past those little things and focus on the driving physics, and GT5 has some of the best driving physics out there. I do not care about the crashing physics because I do not plan on crashing. I do like Forza crashes because they can cause some funny moments, but that is not what makes a driving simulator, it is driving, and in no way is GT5 a failure in that aspect. Also, they have improved a lot with the updates.
How did GT5 fail? The fact that reviewers complained that it was too much simulator and not enough game. I don't really have a problem with that, since I bought it because it is a simulation racer. Oh, before you make the statement that there is no damage and it sucks, and that is not realistic, let me ask how realistic it is to be able to rewind at any point of a race because you make a mistake? I love Forza and I love GT5, and they are both great and have not failed in any way.
So far I have gotten every new game that I wanted. There is a system to getting what you want and once you figure it out, you will get all the new games you want. Also, the only thing that bothers me is the shipping times. When I first joined for about 4 months, I would receive games in 3 to 4 days, but now it is around 6 days.
the only game that had a set release date that they pushed to 2011 was Little Big Planet 2.
I didn't have a problem with the GT 5 reviews since they were complaining about the game being to much simulator and not enough game. That is why i buy a racing SIMULATOR. Also, I am sure the single player for this game is okay, but not great, but the fact they do not really integrate the mp aspect into the review is stupid, especially when the bulk of a review for COD is for the mp.
MAG was not hyped up much at all, and has this person even played the game. There are not voice chat problems, or lag. The only lag experienced was the day it released and the servers where flooded, but with a couple of days, it was fine. At least play the game before you complain about it.
It was only on the store for a few days in EU and then they removed it when the earthquake hit Japan. They delayed it in the US.
