my 60gb got the f'n ylod last april. i live in Canada, and Sony was going to charge me $190 for repairs. so i went to a local game shop and repaired it there for $100. didn't want to lose my game saves if sony was by chance giving me a refurb instead of repairing it.
the comments on the link and here on n4g are riduculous. it's a glitch. that's it. definitely not a cut and dry example of stealing. SO.... if you want to utilize this glitch, do so. if not, then don't. who are we to pass on judgement over a GLITCH?
