What? Isn't this the way it is now?
If gamers weren't a forgiving lot then I presume that after the RROD Microsoft would have been out and now with the PSN down Sony (more specifically the Playstation brand) would be out. Not to mention us gamers wouldn't have any systems to play games on. Yes I am excluding the WII as I don't consider it a next gen contender.
I realize the article has nothing to do with Microsoft, however, I would guess that Microsoft is fully aware of this incident and is now being even more proactive in it's monitoring and beefing up of it's security protocols.

From what I've read about the game $40 is well worth it. I could be wrong but I've paid more for much worse. Just reserved my copy and will pick it up today.
I have a feeling this will be the case for the majority of people who play the game. 12 years is a long time and gaming has just moved beyond where it was then. Personally I think they should have left it dead or played the whole in development thing forever.
Of course, I speculate like everyone else until the game is released but I have a sneaking suspicion it will be an extremely underwhelming experience for most.
My top picks are a little more left field like Soul Reaver: Legacy of Kain and Akuji the Heartless. Of course there were many other great games.
I looked into the not playing on the 360 a bit, of course I don't own the game but from this post it would appear that it does work on the 360.

I own both consoles and will buy both games. However, I will be buying Bulletstorm for my 360 simply because I get the Gears of War 3 beta key on pre-order. Just sayin'.
I really enjoyed the first game. The story was good and the mini games were icing. If I were to venture a guess at 2 I would say it's more than likely going to be 90% of the original just new story.
