I will say with no doubt in my mind that this game has probably the most Epic final boss fight i've ever seen, the whole game is incredible but the that last fight just took it over the top for me.
The problem is the "Faults" that these reviewers are finding are subjective, most of the Issues involve cutscene length which to Metal Gear Fans doesn't matter because we enjoy the Cutscenes, install times which being a PC Gamer for a long time I don't mind either.
The other issue is the Gunplay which again is subjective, I like the shooting mechanics in MGS more than I do in games like Gears of War.

Let me first start by saying that Reviews are 98% opinion and maybe 2% facts, thats the purpose of a review, to tell the public what that person feels are good and bad about any product and the truth is that 2 people will never agree about everything they like and dislike.(I am sure genre,developer,and console preferences do play more of a role in alot of reviews than most would want you to believe.)
Now I don't really believe that someone "Has" to be a fan of a game ...

Alot of people have been waiting for MGS4 to hit the ps3 before they made the jump, and now that this masterpiece is finally in our hands and it was worth every penny I paid for my 60G.
I have a sneaking suspicion that sony will bundle Little Big Planet with PS3s when the game finally gets released, seriously that would be one of the best ways to market a brand new game.
Also I think if Sony knocked the 120GB down to between $399 or $350 it would fly off shelves, Sonys come along way since Launch, all they need to do now is keep it up and keep those games coming.
I'm sorry but the simple fact is that MGS4 is in a league so far ahead of Halo 3 that this whole topic is a little bit pointless.
I give respect to the guys at bungie, they really are some talented developers, but for me personally there is no one who could ever even come close to Hideo Kojima, the man is not a developer, he's not a game designer, the man is an absolute artist, and this my friends is his Masterpiece.
I figured it would have been Toys R Us to break Street Date, but I guess Wal Mart had to one up them.

Is that as much as I really enjoy my PS3, at times I do feel as if sony is relying far too much on just Final Fantasy XIII.
My absolute favorite Genre of games is RPGs hands down, and for the life of me I cant' figure out what sonys plan here is, alot of sony fans are depending on them to get some good RPGS and right now the only definite ones are Fallout 3, Rise of the Argonauts, and Last Remant which following this announcement we may not ever see till sometime next fall.

Others my disagree but Game Informer is about the only good thing Gamestop has ever had anything to do with, I really like alot of there articles (especially their pros and cons pieces) and I usually agree on alot of their reviews more so than any other source,it's also a bonus that they give second opinions on their reviews.

there are more coming they just havent been as heavily talked about at this point, White Knight Story is comming sometime next year, as well as Valkryie Chronicals this november.
Also if rumors are true we will be getting Star Ocean 4 sometime, RPGs take longer to develop than other titles so we just have to be patient.
I am going to get another 360 though when the new chips come out because the rpgs are staking up on it and I can't be missin no RPGs.
that in august when the new chips for the 360 come out I may have to try my luck again so that I can play Gears 2, Fable 2, Infinite Undiscovery(I love Tri Ace) and a few others that I have my eye on but it's hard for me to justify the purchase right now because of the issues I had with my previous 360's, hence why I am waiting for the new chips and maybe a price cut.
Now with that being said even as a PS3 owner I wouldn't choose alot of those games on that list that 360 owners...
They will allow us to use our Tags from the Beta because I really don't want to go through all that mess again.
I enjoyed the beta and still say as far as gameplay goes it was one of the better betas i've taken part of but The ID crap was and still is a bad Idea.

it's probably Zelda, out of all of Nintendos big franchises Zelda is the one that the Hardcore cling to above all else. It deserves the praise it gets but anyone not expecting another Zelda to be announced soon is delusional.
