This is a terrible idea. Give that to someone who can do the license justice like Relic. Give us Dawn Of War 3 and set it in the Horus Heresy. Or a Total War version of War40k. That trailer makes it look like another generic cheesy casual "strategy" mobile game, and that market is already over saturated with those. This would be a perfect opportunity along with Space Hulk: Deathwing to bring this series back to life on PC and introduce it to PS4 and XB1 gamers. I think with Kinect 2...
I'm curious as to how does he do it? You gotta give the guy credit he never fails lol. Back on the topic of DOOM though, I can't freaking wait, I love the series. 3 still creeps the hell out of me. Sounds like they are really taking it back to it's roots. GIBS FTW!!
Christian hour I can assure you I know very well what they are talking about. That is exactly why I'm questioning it. No need to go all ND defense force on me. With 60 locked frames, the action and movements will appear to flow more smoothly and life like, and let us take in greater detail. Everything just appears more natural and convincing. Is that not the point of next generation consoles? To provide newer, more vivid gaming experiences? Now I very well understand that is not for every...
Man this worries me. I don't buy the reasoning. If people wanted the PS3 experience why not just stick to the PS3 version. If you only have a PS4 why would you care or want the PS3 version? Same thing with the 30FPS vs 60FPS. If the 60FPS is locked why would you want less? It's not The Order. I didn't think TLoU was cinematic in game play, it was the story and character development that made it so great. This and lack of game play footage just gives me a bad feeling. I think I wil...
It's in the first paragraph dude. Today, Naughty Dog revealed first official in-game screenshots of The Last of Us: Remastered Playstation 4 and revealed ton of important information about the game. The game will by default run at 1080p/60 FPS resolution but players will have an option of locking it at 30 FPS for consistent performance.
Hell yeah sounds great. I loved DA:O music. Leliana's song is still one of my favorites.
It's a fun game. I'm hoping they'll let me transfer my PC soldier to PS4 (IDC about weapons, I mean cosmetic stuff) since I got a couple friends wanting to give it a shot. As far as pushing PS4 sales though, I doubt it. It's not some super advanced next gen title. It looks beautiful on max settings so if PS4 can really do that it will look great. TR versus Vanu at night on max settings is pretty awesome thing to see. Shooting mechanics are decent basically Battlefield 2 era so...
@KinjoTakemura LMFAO dude the PS4 definitely has it's advantages but get real, a built in battery in the DS4 is not one of them. Not only is the DS4 battery life pitifully short (even with the light bar set to dim), but when it runs out of juice you have to either A) get a really long USB cord B) Swap to fresh controller or C) call it a day. I hate being in the middle of a long game day only to have to quit because my controller needs to recharge. When I'm doing that with my XB1 contr...
That would be pretty awesome. Specially with Kinect 2.0 and the DS4 touchpad, can have much better controls this time around.
I love AvP. I wish we could get HD remakes or a sequel to the originals. For those of you guys that don't know, Rebellion made the excellent AvP on PC back in 99. PLaying as the marine scared the living hell out of me. If they were to make another would be a day 1 purchase for me. AvP2 and it's expansion were also pretty good (that was made by monolith). If you've never tried them out I highly recommend them. You can pick them up dirt cheap. I also enjoyed AvP 2010. The multiplaye...
I can't wait to get my hands on this. Was thinking of doing a marathon run of all the campaigns again. If the h2 updated engine isn't related to the h5 engine, than I'm even more pumped to see what H5 is going to look like because H2 looks amazing. Specially the cut scenes (which is always in game engine)
Honestly I don't know why so many of you care about this. In fact I think you don't, you're just looking for another reason to bash on MS. I'd wager a good 98% of you wouldn't ever bother trying to make your own game. And for those that are serious about it and want to get your foot in the indie scene, MS sends you TWO free dev kits. I used to love this site. The only gaming site I've actually created an account for commenting. But now this is just sad. Most of the stu...
MrTehDiNGO I agree man. When Ghosts came out a lot of review sites were saying the same thing. I thought it was bs until I traded Ghosts and BF 4 on XB1 for PS4 (my main wingman went PS4) when gamestop had this trade to your platform of choice for half off deal. They ran smoother on my X1 though they looked a lot fuzzier with more jaggies. Just tried the Thief demo on X1 too, runs smoother than my PS4 version most of the time also. Though for BF and Ghosts I think it was crap coding for the PS...
Looks great, it could happen. Honestly I think Halo 5 will look amazing. 343 did a fantastic job with Halo 4 so I have full confidence that 5 will really be something. I mean have you seen the screen caps for the cinematics of H2 Anniversary? They could go toe to toe with Blizzard on that. Plus I think that's 343s way of giving a glimpse into what Halo 5 could look like, as Halo always uses the in game engine for it's scripted scenes. I wouldn't even care if it was 720p if it look...
That's awesome to see them respect each other. It's a business, but both of them seem sincere about it which I think is awesome. Mattrick and Major Nelson basically shot Xbox in the foot and put them so far behind I don't think MS will recover until some of their for sure stuff (Halo, crackdown etc) release. And by then Sony will have their own set of exclusives to rival that and keep the lead they've gained thus far. I know for me it was their "deal with it" attitud...
Sweet! I wasn't a big fan of the DS3, I think the DS4 is a lot better. Feels better built, bigger but not too big and not so fragile, and the stick redesign is better IMO than the smooth DS3 ones. Zeuanimals is right, it's all about what your used to in the end. Both next gen consoles controllers are solid and both unique items (touch pad and rumble triggers) are awesome. I personally prefer the lay out of xbox controllers for the sticks because those were my dominant consoles for the...
I can't wait for this game. Warhammer 40k universe is just epic. Brutal, bloody, with massive lore and unique style. It's what set the ground work for all the super soldier in an armored suit vs aliens stuff today. Specially Starcraft. If you've never gotten into it I highly recommend checking it out. I just hope this game embraces that and keeps true to it. Will definitely keep my eye on this. FOR THE DARK GODS!!
EDIT: So the trailer doesn't even appear to be...
Hahaha that was awesome. You should check out his youtube channel, he's got some funnier ones. CoD4 was awesome though, the last great CoD IMO. Those 48 player matches (PC) were epic balls to the wall spawn and bullets RPG's and nades flying past your head from every direction. They should bring that back. I have hope for Advance Warfare, just going to wait for reviews first.
Awesome I'm glad to hear this. 60 frames locked is the way to go if they can pull it off, which it sounds like they did. Silky smooth natural looking motion. Normally I don't do HD remakes, but TLoU was fantastic so I will be getting this day one. One of the few games I played last gen that had me so absorbed I didn't want to put the controller down and I was about to do another run through till they announced the remake. Hope this means UC4 will also be 60 frames.
Totally agree. Let's hope there is a Fable 4 though lol seems a lot of folks were disappointed with number 3. I still love the series though, with 2 still my favorite.
