This is just not good news. EA has to be taking notice.
I feel like F2P is the only solution at this point, but I doubt EA is willing to spend the resources to properly convert Anthem into such a title.
It would also upset quite a few people that paid $85+ for the LoD edition, but the alternative seems worse. They need to really coddle the suckers/founders that paid full price for this game.

Agreed, but better to have some people upset than have matchmaking issues.

I both agree and disagree with this.
They need more solid, fully voiced side stories and cool activities. A new game+ mode is also very cool.
My biggest issue, is that a lot of the stuff you get after finishing the main story revolves around collecting things or boring samey side quests that really aren't all that interesting to do.
The bones are good. Flying and combat is fun. The world is interesting. If they just expand on and improve the story and loot, I think the game could turn it around.
I think they could still save it if they go F2P and cross play.
Of course they could pull a NMS style turnaround, but that's not looking too great.
Everyone saw this coming. I wonder if EA and BW are considering making this go F2P. Outside of doing that and making the game cross play, I really don't see it surviving for much longer.
Yep. I expected more. We have had some good months lately and this one is just a downer.
NieR, The Surge, and both Styx games are on sale. Great if you like RPGs, and the first two are pretty good Souls like games.

Yep, I stopped playing. They just keep breaking and making it less fun to play with every patch.
Not sure how, or when, but Bioware seems to have lost its ability to make games fun. I at least expected a better story for this game, what we got was some sort of abortion that ends stupidly and abruptly, with nothing memorable about it.

Aaryn Flynn was the Anthem lead before Casey Hudson. He is the one responsible for the mess that was Andromeda.
But he also did Dragon Age: Inquisition, Mass Effect 2 & 3 (yes 3 sucks, I know), and Baldur's Gate 2.
The guy fell on his sword for Andromeda, and we got Hudson.
Wonder how Anthem would have turned out if he stuck around.
