@LordJamar this is incorrect. Instead of everyone starting with the same gear/loadouts/etc.... now Gears 5 has special abilities for each character and you can only get special power weapons for each character. For example, Kait can get the torque bow when you're playing multiplayer, however, Marcus is the only one who can get the Gnasher.
