But it was unnexpected back then
Sony abandoned the vita like 3 days after releasing it
I still love it, have a lot of jrpgs, but It didnt get a lot of support from sony
And also I think the prequel game was a stretch goal in the kickstarter
Probably because its not a very big budget game
Or maybe to be true to the originals?
Maybe a mixture of both
Probably to give fans and themselves something to look forward to
Fans have a date to cling to
The devs now more than ever have pressure to deliver on date (And I guess they feel this will give them motivation?)
And they are bringing games to pc
