Pretty sweet deals! I love Gamestop, best place to buy used games. Love the buy two get one free deal they have often.
You'd be surprised. I grew up with the Metal Gear games and Metal Gear Solid 1 on my PS1 was the first gaming all nighter I ever pulled when I was a teenager.
Yea I have MGS4 on PS3, but I didn't really enjoy it. I also have close to 30,000 Gamerscore on XBL, so I would much rather play this on my Xbox 360.
There are probably a good amount of people that will feel the same way.
I never looked at Metal Gear as a Sony exclusive anywa...
Didn't Sony say they wouldn't be porting a bunch of titles over from the Wii? Hmmmmmmmmm
This just goes to show how inventive developers can be with Kinect. The way this game plays is something that can only be done on Xbox 360/Kinect.
Been looking forward to this one for a while now.
Backwards compatibility? 4 USB drives? Other operating systems? Cross party chat? Keeping my personal information safe, like credit card info?
Ya......not so much.
Why do PS3 fanboys freak out if someone posts an article like this? Like they see it as a direct challenge or something?
This bundle is obviously just the start of a big price drop from Microsoft.
Kinect is going down to $99 and will sell amazingly well this holiday...
Achievements aren't going anywhere. I'm sure we'll all keep our Gamerscore that we have when we switch over. The Windows Phone allows Achievements as do certain Windows games. If anything, I don't like to play games with no achievements, you get a sense of accomplishment.
Obviously Microsoft is planning on taking the fight straight to Sony/Nintendo this holiday.
I would expect a full price cut on Kinect $99, 250 gig Xbox 360 $249, 4 gig Xbox 360 $179 and of course bundles.
I hope the 5 game bundle goes around the world, it would give MS a huge boost in sales. Kinect sales will be helped with some decent titles later this year, Dance Central 2, Kinect Sports 2, Rise Of Nightmares, Gunstringer ect...
Going to be...
It's a great business tactic. They do great without needing Sony's sloppy seconds. I doubt anyone will debate that Microsoft has the better/fresher arcade. This years Summer Of Arcade was just more proof of the same. Sure Sony tried to copy that and failed pretty bad because they lacked the titles to pull it off.
To anyone complaining, Sony actually does a similar thing with games. They wont let timed exclusives on the PS3 unless it comes with extra content. Like Mas...
Gaming is my only hobby. Hobby's can be expensive, people just need to suck it up a bit. If you cant afford it, then find another hobby. Nobody forces people to buy DLC or Collectors Editions of games. You can always buy the complete game for the same $60.
If you feel the need to penny pinch then just be smart about where you get your games from. Plenty of places offer deals, the only problem with places like Amazon is the fact that you don't usually get the games on...
Typical EA tactic. It doesn't effect me in the least though. Long as I can race my Camaro's and Vettes!
Here we go, it looks like developers are going to have to start gimping their games to fit them on Vita.....
Well considering games like Resistance 3 are already commenting on DLC, this isn't so fast. Had they announced it before the games release then it'd be a bit ridicules.
Also since this game was only $10, I'll take a $2 DLC any day of the week.
On a side note, over 100,000 units sold in it's first week is very, VERY impressive for Microsoft for their first Kinect Arcade title. Hopefully we start seeing a lot more of these.
What if my aunt had balls? He's be my uncle....
Never happen.
What exactly are they scared of? Sony were the ones who pushed panic and dropped prices. Microsoft is just bundling software. They haven't as yet lowered the price.
How do you think this deal with work out this holiday for Microsoft?
@infamousXX87XX
Yes the arcade, but they've always had that model. It's not like they came out with that because of fear. They launched with arcade consoles. So I'm not sure of your point.
Oh well, it's just PC. So who really cares? I still prefer Gamestop to most other places.
$60 is just the price of games these days. Even back in the day they were $45-$60. People complaining about the cost of games reminds me of my mother complaining about how the price of bread has gone up.
Gaming is a hobby, hobby's can be expensive. In comparison stamp collecting is even more expensive, same with model planes or radio control cars ect...
Stop your whining. I do know some budget gamer's in real life, they can maybe only get 1 or two new...
This is the same comment you left in another Kinect thread. Why so angry at Kinect? it's obvious you don't own one, so why complain about it?
I'd be expecting more delays soon. Games just don't want to go up against the likes of COD MW3. It happens every year. I wouldn't be surprised if Saints Row The Third, LOTRWITN and another game or two delay into next year.
I've gotten them all thus far as well. I have to say Microsoft has gone all out this summer with their arcade titles. Even though summer is a lousy retail year for games, it was fantastic on XBL.
There was already a story about this on this site. I think it's a good idea to wait till the game is ready. Props to Microsoft and Lucasarts for trying to get the public the best product they can.
I'm sure they could have easily shipped a broken game and still sold millions of copies, and not having that Star Wars bundle might hurt Microsoft this holiday season, cant say they aren't doing the right thing.
Get the game right, then everyone can be ...
