Cant wait to grab this, the only thing that sucks is I have Gunstringer pre ordered and that comes with Fruit Ninja as well, but I would rather get the chance to play Fruit Ninja separately anyway for a while.
I own a Kinect and play it and I'm in my 20's. I think your confusing what a gamer is, most true gamer's don't label themselves. It's only idiot fanboy's who try to win arguments that put labels on people. I play games, all kinds, all kinds of consoles, different ways ect... Yet I play competitively as well...Guess I blew your theory out of the water huh? Bet you didn't see it going that way for ya huh?
I wouldn't mind them picking up Remedy, I think they are quality. It'd be tough to convince Epic, and with Gears exclusive anyway I don't see the need to buy that company since Gears is pretty much their only good ip at the moment, but if they were to buy Epic they would make a ton of money on the Unreal Engine, since so many companies use that.
I'm not one of those Xbox 360 fans that thinks they need to quick and buy up a ton of studio's, they seem to be ...
No biggie, I still have like 180 gigs left on my 250 gig HDD. Cant wait to play this game!
Dang, I was looking forward to trying this out. I can use Kinect in my living room fine, but in my room things get a little cramped, was interested in seeing this thing in action. A ton of killer Kinect apps are on the way and I want the chance to actually play them. Dance Central 2, Kinect Sports 2, Gunstringer, Fruit Ninja, Rise Of Nightmares and Star Wars to name a few that are on my radar.
I thought it would have been higher, given all the games that have released.
I wonder what features they've removed from this model? With each "new" version of the PS3 they always take out some function.
A lot of comments in this thread are crazy. No way Rockstar or Valve agree to be sold to Sony or any company. Rockstar see's huge sales and money from GTA, Red Dead ect... Why cut your income literally in half or worse by agreeing to be bought out?
I can see little developers liking the option, but it doesn't make sense for bigger ones, which is why we probably will never see those guys sell out.

You can grab a 42 inch Vizio from Walmart that is 3-D and 1080p for under $800 and you can get the 32 inch one for less then $500. This is not a good deal. I don't even like 3-D but I know a deal when I see one and this isn't one of them. I had the chance to buy a 42 inch 3-D TV or a 55 inch LED for the same price and I went with the LED. There just isn't anything compelling about 3-D these days.
I don't even think HD remakes should be necessary, sometimes I'm okay with it, if they actually remake it instead of just up-convert it. The MGS set looks pretty good, the Halo CE remake looks REALLY good. So I guess it's all relative.
Most of those companies work on map packs. It's usually just Treyarch or IW on the actual games, though Sledgehammer gets an assist this time on MW3.
Looks as though Battlefield has just as many games as the so called "milked COD".

Battlefield 3 wont do anything but look better on PC. If you go by previous IW branded COD games and Metacritic, each one has scored higher then the Battlefield game that came out around the same time. So the Modern Warfare series has indeed scored better. That is a good indication of quality, of course there will be the sales, MW3 will probably sell close to 25 million units, Battlefield 3 probably less then 7 million, which is still considered a success, but not the real challenge they want...
I knew this was coming, it has nothing to do with polish and everything to do with a game that was getting overlooked with so many other titles coming out. Didn't Jaffe go on some lame ass rant as well when it comes to FPS games or something? Probably didn't like the hype those games were getting as opposed to his.
You do realize a lot of 343 is actually original Bungie members right? They have a ton of quality people working on Halo 4, including people who worked on Halo 1, 2 and 3, Killzone 2 and more. So please stop talking about what you do not know.
3-D is and always has been a gimmick. It's not just a Sony thing or anything like that, I hate every movie it's been in, they seem to slap 3-D on sub par movies and games and expect people to treat them like Avatar.
Avatar was a one time thing to me, something that took 5+ years to get right, I actually go out of my way to avoid the 3-D theater.
The one that we've seen actually run on the Xbox 360. Plus the one that doesn't have an online pass or try to BS people. It's COD of course!
Sounds like Sony is losing faith in Resistance 3 before it even releases. I think this TV is too small to make a difference in the 3-D market, but now they are killing any chance they had by offering a older game instead of a new one.
This game will probably have 2 million pre order's in before it releases. I logged close to 100 hours in the beta and believe it was the best Gears online experience ever! It's absolutely polished and ready to go. It'll be very well received and it's already getting hype like no other game this year. It's been hyped more then Battlefield 3 or Modern Warfare 3.
