Because PC destroys consoles in terms of graphics, price in the long-term (no online fee, cheaper games), it can also be used for productivity, keyboard mouse destroys game-pad... I could go on and on. Everything consoles do, pc does better. Simple.
4K is not even registered on the steam hardware survey, that means less than 0.001% of PC gamers actually owns a 4K monitor...an extreme minority! Which is far from being standard.
When it's time to buy a console people cry because they are to expensive, but when it's time to buy an iPad, MacBook Pro, overpriced 800$ smart phone they are ready to sell their children.
It's funny how people manage to spin things in such a way that makes less powerful into something more capable. I can't see the logic, but this is what I know.
