what you call underpower is still just the most powerful until the X comes out. Even then you will come to realize that though the difference "substantial", it is not like night and day like some assume. Also dont be naive. The cycle will continue eventually: ps5 will come, x2 will too, then ps6....and so on. So at the end of day it all comes down to preferences + attractiveness (games, price, fanbase size, etc). The answer is quite simple: there is a different between "just get it on pc" and "just buy/build a pc and then buy the game". Im pretty sure that most people that say just get it on pc already assumes you own a pc capable of at least the minimum settings. Now if you own both pc and console and they are suggesting that you pick one version over the other then we are probably stepping into preference (fan) territory. lol
