This is a demo. The only purpose you serve is to load test the servers. All the other feedback is either already corrected or being evaluated by internal testing. IF they were really doing a beta, you would have seen some things fixed and a patch sent out.
and you don't think there's reason it was more COD like with just infantry v. infantry? This is all just really a chance for people who play COD to try BF3 for free. They hope to win some hearts and minds. It wouldn't be good to throw those people into a huge map with tanks.

I'd say a pretty big difference is the inevitable "timed exclusivity" of the DLC. When you have to wait a month or more for the DLC, that must suck. That was the nail in the coffin for my support of CoD.

I like this review. I pretty much agree with it all. The story was good, but it just wasn't executed well. The sound design on this game was really bad. Most of the guns sounded the same and nothing like the real thing. My favorite part was the scene with the 'misfire.'
I enjoyed the multiplayer u til the first patch. That completely broke the game for me and many others. After a week of not being able to get into a match, I traded it in.

I wonder if the industry would help itself out by not releasing all of the big games in Sept-Oct-Nov timeframe. I understand that Activision doesnt care if it cannibalizes the rest of the industry.
