Well... I have a launch PS4 and never picked up a pro. The fact this will have some backwards compatibility and I passed on the pro- I'll pick this up day one. However, I don't think I will skip on the pro version again (if and when PS5 pro happens). Getting to the end of the console cycle and games chugging sub 30 fps is not great.
These were at bestbuy last black friday at least... not new
Edit: and I found they were overpriced compared to non-mario branded cards
So. Much. Salt.
people are stuck inside with nothing to do.. why not release it? I have a co-worker that occasionally plays games and recently picked up ffvii remake due to nostalgia but also a factor was BEING STUCK AT HOME WITH NOTHING TO DO!
I feel another issue with streaming besides, widespread poor internet service, is that until no one lives further than 50-100 miles from a data center streaming just won't be viable... Unless we had computers that could handle some quantum entanglement. :-P
It looks good.. today.. I hope this doesn't take 4-5 years to release. Then it may not look so great. I will still play it though if it doesn't.
499.99.. however if raytracing is hardware driven and can run 4k well (not pick one or the other) 599.99.
Overwatch could have used something like this... hate quitters. Just stick it out and try- maybe you will get better at something in the game by actually playing.
So this supposedly comes out next month, right? Why do we not have a hard release date yet?
lol yea for under 500$ too!
But does it blend!?
Axelay please! actually more space shooters in general would be nice.. I think they are overlooked in retro collections.
Yikes.. why are they hiding the game play on this so much? If it's good show it- but if it is bad then keeping the game play under wraps makes sense... :-/
I don't recall complaints of vibrancy- it was the fact the light saber did not sever limbs when it should.
It is supposed to be simulating how light actually works- so yes if light is reflecting off a surface accurately it should show reflection or an effect that matches what you are looking at in the environment. Next time you play a game look at a puddle of water there may be just a "baked" in texture that if you aren't paying attention seems like it is reflecting but it isn't. I would say though if the light is reflecting more accurately I would think that would give more accu...
I think it would've been better if they would've made an attempt to have original takes on the characters like the Arkham games for batman. The avengers here look beyond generic like they are trying to dodge licensing fees for the characters.
Yea the need to get a new tv for 4k @ 120 is a non-issue. Aside from some indies or older ports- just be happy if we get 4k 60fps. At least for the first couple years of the console before the games start getting more advance for the systems and we start dropping to 4k sub 60 or 2k at 60.
btw yes I know you need higher Hz tv for FPS. In short I wouldn't sweat not having a 120 Hz 4k TV.
yea I agree- I was having fun at first but I started to realize I felt I was doing the same thing in every mission and the enemies weren't very challenging or diverse. I installed on my NVME drive so that helps a little but the loading is a bit ridiculous.
I think with the push for digital- you have to have BC on the system. Imagine if your steam library was essentially erased every time you upgraded your GPU or CPU. My phone can play games I bought back in 2008- no reason consoles can't or shouldn't do this at least going forward.
Awesome I have been wanting to play Onrush
So an extra 10$ a game means... reduced DLC and season pass cost and the elimination of micro-transactions in games... Right?????
Seriously I think this would actually delay a transition to all digital for some as well as give resellers like gamestop a life line.
