The Playstation Network is run off a Bit-Torrent network. It's free so they don't have to pay for bandwith that's why things like downloading the patch for MGO was torrrentable. I realy can't trust the press anymore... Realy, They review games like they must be like every other game in the genre. If one element doesent live up to the comparison of the same element in a different game then its a short coming. He talks about the aiming system and comparing it to other third and first person shooters, this game is not a shooter. Or atleast not as a whole. It's not going to have controls like one it's not going to have an interface like one... He talks about small things...

Yeah no he is the fan boy here then... Because we all not that critics did not give Halo 3 a free pass because, well thats Microsoft. I bet he gave Halo 3 a 10/10 and MGS4 is incomparable to Halo 3 in every way. Thing about it. The only people who can say otherwise are those with no PS3's and those who haven't bought the game yet.
Believe me, this is a wonderful, wonderful game that deserves nothing less then a perfect 10, I just wouldn't understand otherwise.
The way critics have been rating games is over my head. When a PC game is ported to console the game would be given a bad rating just because no graphical or game play improvements have been put into place. When a sequel to a new game comes out that didn't quite follow up on it's predecessor, but nothing short of brilliant comes out, It's usually thought after as "for real fans only" or just is compared to other games in the series.
Sony and Microsoft have been paying for exclusives for a very, very long time. They pay for timed and full exlcusives, timed being less expensive thus Bioshock...

We'll have to see. I haven't personal played the first Gears but it looks like all testosterone fueled gameplay that would make weak men cry. Gears 2, idk if it would be different but, Id have to play it myself. COD4 and Bioschock were emotional rollarcoasters for me, it's like watching an amazing movie, probably beyond that, It's like finishing Half life 2.

If you've ever played Bioshock, (If you havent pick up a compy ASAP) then you'll feel alot of emotion. One of the greatest games I've ever played, it's lock walking through a blockbuster movie, It just leaves you speachless, so just an ode towards videogames can bring out emotions.

Driving can be extremely gay unless you have a sports car. Im getting used to driving slower which im actualy getting to my destination sooner. And im actualy not going the fast, I used to go like 30 now I got like 10 just so I dont crash and slide.
But, I got to say, for multiplayer it makes it more challenging and alot of fun to drive. And with the DS3 it feels a bit natural.
