Thats a VERY flawed logic. Of course at first glance 250% looks better than 32%. But If sony is selling (At the time) 20,000 units (for the week) and then the 250% increase then they're up to 50,000 units. Where as if the 360 sold 46,000 last week and increase by 32% then they're up to about 60,000 sold.
Bigger jump? yes. Bigger impact? not necessarily.
If the supply is there then
1) Wii
2) 360
3) PS3
My reasoning:
1) The wii is the wii. Its gonna sell regardless
2) The price cut was big. Especially with the US and Canadian economies right now i can't see the (AVERAGE) parent picking up a ps3 for $200 more when you can get a 360 that plays alot of the same games (Im talking about 3rd party games). A little biased aren't we? Funny how you put up all ps3's heavy hitters and seemed to have forgotten about a game called Gears of War. Still one of the top 3 prettiest games this gen (alongside MGS 4 and Uncharted).
You also fail to mention all the installs for MGS4 and the fact at certain scenes right in the middle of action the game would just load. Why is this stuff never mentioned about ps games yet for 360 its always shouted to the mountain tops???

And this is my problem with some of the people on this site. Before it was..."Oh LA Noire is gonna blow everything on the 360 cause its gonna take full advantage of the cell and blu ray" to now "oh well, I forgot about this game anyway". Its pathetic how biased some of the people on this site are.

Honestly...its just not for me. I have nothing against it, but personally its too "simple" for me. Im an AV techie and I love the options that the ps3 and 360 offer me.
$199 is a very desirable price point and I think people who are on the fence will be swayed by that price.
I know most will disagree but for me personally I LOVE fight night. One of the few times to me that EA sports does something right. I'll win and die by Mike Tyson :) :) :)

250 and you guys are complaining? LOL In toronto the limit is 60gb for reg high speed and 90GB for the extreme.
and i guess thats my dilemma with both my systems. I like my ps3 but i tend to prefer my 360 due to the amount of friends I have on live. Nothing against the ps3, I just love the amount of friends on live.
Why is it that on this site when any remotely positive news is posted for 360 the sony fans come in and bash it?? All i ever hear is Uncharted, KZ, Resistance, LBP, Cell, MGS4 FTW!!!!!! Seriously man, there's enough shine for both systems.

This is exactly why I dont really post on this site as much. Love him or hate him, he said an extremely logical comment. While we know you can take a ps3, put a larger hd, install linux, stream files from your pc to the system via ps3 the greater good fo the public do not know this. THe only thing this video shows me is that developers are getting really good at developing for both systems.
I have a 3g iphone and i stand by everything the article says I have to disagree with the article. The Nokia N96 (and N95, the older version of the N96) have a ton of features the iphone does not have (Stereo BT, MMS, turn by turn GPS if you have the map pack etc).
Basically they're two different beasts. Either way you can't lose.
