I hope there is no multiplayer .I hope they leave it an awesome single player experience.
I love that fact that super villains have formed gangs, and have control of different areas in the city.
I loved it in Saint's Row 2 when gangs had control of different parts of the city as well made it feel like 3 games in one since you had 3 different story lines in one game which was awesome.
I hope it is similar in this game.
I'm sick of everyone whining and wanting co op play in every damn game it pisses me off.
He's not really wrong since the games you mentioned aren't all in the same genre.
It's stupid to name multiple big name titles in this argument since that's not what he was talking about.He was talking about people loving one genre and being able to buy a console to solely buy those games which you can't do this generation.

Yeah it's getting pretty ridiculous.I remember watching G4s E3 coverage this year and I swear 4 out of every 5 games they went hands on with were 1st person shooters.
On my PS1 I have like 90% rpgs because there was so many and same deal with my PS2 but now with my PS3 probably only like 10% of my collection are rpgs,and what's worse it's not even like the rpgs that get released are always good like half or more are mediocre at best today.It's such a sad time ...
They won't release tales games over here since there too busy making crappy dragonball z games.
I would love to see Mega Man legends 1 and 2 one the psn. I know not everyone thinks there classics but i loved them,and considering half the so called classics on the psn are garbage why can't they put these on.
The damn game could be beat in under 20 hours that's just terrible.An rpg should never be less then 20 hours.It was acceptable for a SNES rpg to be around 20 hours,and even then most were longer then 20 hours.
I do have to agree somewhat about Alpha Protocol.I actually enjoyed it and threw 2 playthroughs never experienced a single bug,yet I do understand there was other problems with the game and the fact that Sega said they won't make a sequel to it saddens me ....it doesn't surprise me.
I just wished it was better tho I would have loved to see a sequel

@Millionaire It's true even more so with Square and Enix they were both awesome in the 90s since merging they have become mediocre at best.
Namco turned to crap once they became Namco Bandai it's all the same now just dragon ball z games over and over again.
I would love to see Shining Force III since I never got to play it since I never had a Saturn.
I know only Scenario 1 was released in English but how awesome would it be if they translated Scenario 2 and 3 as well(doubt it would happen but still would be awesome).
When I install it I keep freezing at the please wait screen.Which is odd since I played it last year fine now I can't.
I just hope it isn't just another pretty fps for the graphics whores out there that can be beat in just a few hours and actually has a long single player experience,at least around the 20 hour mark.I think it should be possible since it's an open world from what I've seen.
I don't recall stating my opinion as fact ,I'm just speaking my mind like everyone else on here.If you like FF XIII good for you but the fact remains I think its garbage.
Oh and you say you've played FF series since childhood as if that's a better defense for it....Well I can say that crap as well the fact is I've been a gamer since the 80s and played damn near every RPG since the early 90s to today.So I have a damn good idea what I like and what I don'...
For sure FFXIII is the worst FF game ever,I honestly have no clue who would actually like it,certainly not a long time fan of the series.
I assume only newbies to the series liked it.Since they don't know what a good Final Fantasy game is or what a good RPG is for that matter since 90% of todays RPGs are garbage and can't hold a candle to old school rpgs.
