I have the ability to always play games until the 70 percent mark and then get bored and move on. I actually made myself complete my last game Tomb Raider.
No one is complaining because they got paid by EA to do a video. People are complaining because they didn't disclose that they were getting paid by EA to do a video. Even if there isn't a hint of deceit in the video, it leaves a terrible impression that any future thing you do for an EA game. Is is guy on the take? Will he only be highlighting the good stuff so he can get a higher CPM?
With these shooters their main focus is the online component. You wonder what could have been improved with the resources it took to develop a Single Player portion. *Looking at Battlefield*
Ya, I've played maybe an hour or so and it was a blast to play! In between gaming sessions on AC4 or Need4Speed, I will pop in for a round or two.
I have surprisingly enjoyed this iteration. I've spent way to much time looking for Mayan coins or treasure chests on islands..
Alright playboy. I'll add you. I play BF a lot as well.
I do like how they at least keep the color that represents their console. :) Imagine if it was a teal colored screen of death. Mind-Blown.
I loved the Mcdonalds on the pedestal at the Midnight launch! Highlight of the show!
Launches are never a definitive thing. It usually takes a few weeks for the problems to surface w/ continued wear on both consoles.
The problem I see is that the bias isn't Black or White. Its subtle, making any attempt to "ban" them from anywhere that much harder.
Well they have to make money, so they take advertising money, and it can create a perception problem for the site. I believe this also interacts with gaming media as a whole, and the possibility of streaming through the boxes somewhat lowering their usefulness.
That would be difficult I believe. A site can "appear" to be unbiased whilst scoring competitor machine games slightly lower. Or talking bad about the machine through live-streams etc.
Didn't know about all that.
This reminds me of the "share feature" of the ps3. You used to be able to "share" with five but it was knocked down to two. They giveth and taketh away.
I think I like the matte finish on the handles the best. After a long session my hands would get slippery and uncomfortable. The joystiqs seem to be further apart as well. And my second fav part is the tightening of the deadzone. The DS3 was too loose IMO.
Excited about this initial announcement... Love DICE but....this is still EA.
Like Ari Gold. GTFO!
I agree.
Wow. This article just reminded me of how many Ps3's Sony will sell long after PS4 debuts. I grew up in a poor family and remember getting the PSone after the PS2 debuted. Oh memories...
Looks good!
