I liked the beta, even if the only map was the not-that-impressive Metro.
The gameplay felt tight and fluid most of the time, and I cant wait to use the vehicles in the full version :D
Why all the disagrees, the difference between console and pc is sony and microsoft are the only companies that can make ps3/360 hardware, therefore the only time a ps3/360 can be upgraded is when sony and microsoft make one.
Third parties are not licensed to make ps3/360 hardware, same as why other companies cannot make phones that use the iPhone OS, because Apple owns the rights.
Get over yourselves people.
Yeah I'm pretty excited for the next counter strike, I used to play the first one with Bots all the time lol, I was still a little kid so I would only play it when my parents weren't home so they wouldnt see me shoot people and be mad :D
I remember as a kid, BF1942 was my first battlefield game. Since i didnt have internet, I would play rounds with the bots over and over again, just having fun mucking about in the vehicles.
I was pumped for B2 when I was like 14, but sadly my PC couldnt handle it :(
Glad to see I will still be able to experience some BF2 in BF3 :)

I agree,a beta with bugs will definitly effect sales in a negative way.
With all the hype surrounding this game, they didnt even need a beta, but they could have at least ironed out bugs BEFORE releasing it to the general public.
I was actually pretty impressed with the beta, apart from the squad system not working properly and overpowered lmgs, i didnt have any problems.

Unfortunatly, not many people are willing to buy EVERY great game coming out this fall, and there are alot.....
As nice as it would be to have unlimited money or time, no one really does.
Therefore, I will probably get games with Multiplayer like B3 and U3 when the most ppl are playing and wait for others to go on sale on boxing day or something :P

I too am personally REALLY sick of hearing how "awesome" and "addictive" angry birds is. I bought the game last year cuz everyone kept talking about it, and when I played it, i was like "is this what all the hypes about?"
Its an overly simple physics game, its extremely repetitive and its really NOT THAT FUN.
If "angry birds" is amazing to you, go buy a real physics game like portal and let that knock your socks off.
I know, its the kind of trailer that gives you little goosebumps and leaves you smiling at the end :)
Might have to check this one out. I bought the ps2 version when I had the backwards-compatable PS3, but playing the Ps2 version on the Ps3 caused a glitch in the one of the missions that made further avancement impossible.
Cant wait to get my copy on the 27th :)
Yeah, they get just as much (tpught bubble: not really, the player count is halved and the maps are smaller and the graphics arnt as impressive and...)
I don't know why so many people dont like the beta, all my friends and I loved it.
I even have a friend who said "battlefield sucks, the maps are too big, I dont like the vehicles" and now he's playing the beta constantly.
