The SHIELD is pretty smooth I must say. As for X1 or PS4, I'm kinda leaning towards the PS4 at launch due only to price and then perhaps the X1 when the price drops.
I really like the off-TV play as well and I dug being able to look at my weapons and the mini map on the GamePad as well.
