I think your expectations were waaaaaaay too high.
It's a shame Nintendo didn't opt to advertise this game more it's getting great reviews across the bored.

2014 was a fantastic year for Nintendo. What are you going on about? Smash and MK8 had 9 and 10s across the board. A Link Between Worlds was great and Yoshi's Wolly world despite its lackluster sales was received very well.Oh and did you forget about Mario Maker? What is it with N4G and its lack of research concerning Nintendo titles?

But why does it feel like 75 percent of the game is hidden behind a paywall. BO3 to its credit has a ton of content at launch compared to this.
