First off I want gameplay leap rather than just visual leap (advanced AI, simulation, physics & responsive worlds) ... Tax the CPUs and not just the GPUs ... with visuals you only go so far.
Maybe we'll start see a bit more leap with games like Wukong, GTA VI & Witcher 4 etc. ... which shouldn't be possible on PS4s.
from the previews, the gameplay will
Hope the game gets honest, unbiased reviews and not influenced by whatever the studio's allegation was ... I know some publications might
Sad.
Can they somehow release the PC version/source code of 1886?
They showed it off in SIGGRAPH. It's fully playable. Just needs a release.
@andy85
yea ... but what else can they do?
(I am talking purely hardware wise hype generation and not other software/service/management related changes/improvements, coz those can be done/adjusted much more fluidly & anytime/later)
If MS launches the next Xbox simultaneously with PS6, the PS6 is bound to beat Xbox in launch sales. And gamers just want straight-up more powerful consoles with no extra gimmicks from these two manufacturers, so that limits what MS c...
It will be 6 years*
Nobody asked for Borderlands ... a Bioshock Rapture movie would've made more sense
Its very underrated ... and now the game'll look even better!
Can't wait for Crysis 4
yea, saw it ... fascinating developments
Hope most games support PSSR from the get-go.
Can't wait to see what ND and Santa Monica can do with the leap in power. Hope their new IPs target PS5 Pro primarily.
The PS5 Pro reveal showcase can't come soon enough.
First, I thought, maybe some special Silent Hills spin-off collab?
But Siren? Whoa, nice.
Majority of my PS library has become digital only, unfortunately.
It's rumored that they want to re-strike that X360 surprise ... and also yes also moving away from Series S' architecture.
Both manufacturers are getting the wind of the GTA 6's requirements as well as upcoming UE5-native open world games. Even though how much or how little un-tapped PS5/XSX's power there still is, future games will require even more performance headroom.
Hence both parties addressing this differently.
Sony is going the mid-cycle Pro...
Doesn't want to compete with BLOps 6 ... still they need to release it wayy ahead of EA's next BF marketing start
We've only seen PC footage till date, I think ...
Even if the said resolution holds, I think the graphics presets/settings will be lowered on consoles to target and balance the resolution and framerate.
Need to rely heavily on frame generation as well ... we all saw how a comparatively simpler UE5 game like Immortals of Aveum performed on consoles.
30fps mode works/will work but the 60fps modes still performs poorly in previous UE5 titles.
First off its mult-plat just like the sequel
And the whole point of the original game was the Wii's motion controls.
The multi-plat sequel also supported PS Move motion controller on the PS3.
Helluva speculation. Valve always play tests internal gaming projects and most gets codenames.
cheers!
honestly ... reminded me of Ghost Recon Future Soldier
... don't recall the rationale behind the previous gen version launch ... was it the poor current gen version sale that prompted this decision?
The Series S vs One X comparison should be interesting.
