There was a rumor quite a while back and Linus of LTT did a video on it, that Apple was considering a gaming focused Mac Hardware. They have the Metal API and also the support from Steam. Just a capable AMD hardware packaging is all they need. The Apple ARM Silicon can be relegated to rest of the normal consumer product.
Will look bland, I reckon.

I get the point of a cheaper alternative to the flagship console.
But why make it less powerful than the current gen console?
Why would a next gen console be less poweful than the One X?
Make it atleast have 7TF of power or 8TF, even better.
