Quietly?
They went with a bang!

So what's Microsoft got for next year?
Psychonauts2, Halo Finite, Starfield, Doom Ancient Gods 2, Ghostwire, Deathloop
and maybe Age of Empires 4 and something from Compulsion games.

Yea I was just reminiscing the bygone era of multi-gpu setups. Some devs supported them others didn't.
...
And yes humor aside, AMD's modern approach will be to incorporate both GPUs inside the same SoC with direct linkage.

Dual Radeon GPUs?
But ... Crossfire is long abandoned by devs along with SLI. XD

I have a better question,
What Happened to Quake?
Yea, the single-player Gothic Quake. We had enough of Strogg entries.
MachineGames even released new Quake I Episode on its 20th anniversary!
An homage 20 years later and that too for free.

UT 2004 was the perfect sequel to original UT. (UT 2003 is always ignored)
UT 2007 was good looking for its time but was not that engaging and had less content.
UT 2017 was off to a good start ... but alas.

It was pretty straightforward actually.
They were going for a f2p UT 2017. Then Fortnite happened.
Epic announced they're dedicating all the workforce to Fortnite. Then they announced they're freezing UT development indefinitely.

Nah, mate. Ain't a fanboy of any platforms. So insecure independant in terms of gaming.
Which ever platform performs better: kudos from me. Whichever fumbles: hey fix the mess.
Simple philosophy.

Did you pre-order Cyberpunk? And are you getting The Medium ?

Edit: And not spreading mis-information. Its a comment section to an article/story. People are supposed to go through the article or video first. This is more of a section for discussion, like we are doing.
Cheers, DJ!

Yea .. ofcourse ... but the word "locked" wasn't mentioned explicitly. So ... yea there's that.
And the lower bounds of a dynamic res is the actual benchmark metrics of a system(as to how much its capable).
Before dyna-res-scaling, reviewer or someone analyzing used to benchmark a system/game performance by simulating/replicating an intense calculative scene(s) of a game.
A glance at a skybox render in a game will always be least intensive.

I understand dynamic resolution. :-P
...
I just poked fun at the marketing from Q1-Q2 2020.
...
And for a PC gamer, seeing 720p@60fps from a touted "next-gen" system kinda made me chuckle a bit. That's all. (yea, I get it ... the low price-point [its still a good deal to be honest, but still ... 720p{non-locked}?])
Nah, didn't make a fool of myself but it sure got you agitated.

I understand AC has lost its charm over the years. And lost much of the fans after transitioning to an RPG model.
but ...
what hardcore games you want from a console?
Esports?
Coz by hardcore I normally associate games like Post Scriptum or Squad (traditionally PC staple)

BF1942 is a multiplayer game set in WW2.
So is BF:V. That too with ray-tracing.
If it didn't face development problems BF:V would have covered all nations and theater.
