wait a minute....did gamestop become the only place to buy games? What the hell have I been buying at Best buy then?
I've done that as well and when I called they said they didn't have it. They could be either lying or the information is not up to date.
What does it matter of they have your best interest in mind? It's your money if you don't want to buy it just walk away.
Buying video games is pretty much black and white. You buy or you don't. Using the word trust in this situation is stupid.
It's a store...if you went into gamestop and you're looking for a new copy of a game and they say they don't have than go to another store. If you want to buy a new copy of a game because it's cheaper than a pre owned and they say they don't have it...walk away and buy it online at the site.
Why is trust needed.
@gendden7 What makes you think Nintendo can get third party to sign on? The last 3 generations have proven they aren't capable of doing it. Even if they are able to sign them on, they disappear quickly.
3rd party support for this console at launch is worst than the one for the Wii-U. Just shows how much confidence they really have for it.
Yes...the DS did well...however it was a different time then. In today's market phones dominate the handheld market. If you look at the 3ds sales compared to the DS sales it's a third of what it was.
I think i should start writing if someone like this guy can do it. His only reason is the Switch nothing else.
Hope they add family team jutsu. That would be cool
Always wondered if Naruto lost the ability to use the other tail beast skills, guess not.
No, just look at the massive success of the wii-u. Oh wait
The novelty of the Wii wore off and the casual audience didn't move onto the wii-u. While the core continues to support the PS4 and the X1
I was expecting "we don't have an answer at this time"
Lol...I imagined this is what happened at Nintendo when this console was pitched to the execs.
@wonderfulmonkeyman
I think it's more like they're testing than supporting. They're porting a game they released years ago and it's not the HD version and it's not even on launch. The Wii-u had more than the switch on launch.
Did you say the same thing with the wii-u? Did you believe in their "launch window" that ultimately showed nothing?
The wii-u had 3rd party games too, but most of them were ports. Pretty much what the switch is currently getting, just less.
5 of those games Otaku mentioned are either ports, not a jrpg or on another console. Nothing to get non Nintendo fans excited
So why are they releasing the console in 2 months? Is it because they want to get Zelda out?
What are they going to do to keep this it alive until 2018? The article list 4 games and I don't believe in Nintendo's ability to get third party support.
Lol...for some reason i still think I'm going to see in stock at my best buy
And yet Sony gave it to their users for free until they built it up to what it is today before charging users...
I'm not exactly sure what they should be worried about. Nintendo caters to the casual and their fans and yesterday's keynote did nothing to sway users from either the Xbox 1 or the Playstation 4 side to jump ship.
I had no expectations for this keynote. While watching it I thought "did Nintendo name it the switch so they can make a bunch of puns.."
Anyway this conference was for the Nintendo core. This console is stuck between a rock and a hard place. As a home console it will lose out to both the Ps4 and X1 and the handheld market is dominated by phones.
@OmislashVer36 He wasn't the director to either of the Dissidia games, he was just part of the team. However he was the designer of FF All the bravest.
He hasn't directed a game before and Square is allowing him to direct the remake to one of their most beloved games. The only game where he had a big role was All the bravest and that game was terrible.
@OmislashVer36 People are more worried about Final Fantasy all the bravest part more than they are about Dissidia...All the bravest was a cash grab crap of a mobile game.
In a small way. the Wii was a smash hit and if you look at the industry now it didn't change much.
