Balance issues kill games? Sorry, but you're wrong. Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is one of the most enduring fighting games of all time.
You're absolutely right about Counter-Strike.
Enemy Territory not so much though.
@NukaCola Bioshock wouldn't really belong on this list. The potential spot for that went to Deus Ex. Before Bioshock there was also the System Shock series, which would also take precedence over Bioshock.
@orakga. Sorry to pull an English teacher on you, but he didn't use "bias" as an adjective. He used it as a noun.
@Dude240
Inveni0 never made the claim that the PS3 was faster than 90% of gaming PCs, so you're a moron.
So try thinking before you post stupid crap. Bubble down.
I personally think TF2 is harder to get into than Counter-Strike. Basic FPS skills are a lot more valuable in Counter-Strike, while TF2 is a strange and awkward game with some classes for which basic FPS skills aren't even very important.
I love the AWP. One-shot, one-kill, and the targets don't even move that fast.
I'm not entirely sure either. I think it was just an attempt to expose it to an audience that otherwise might not play it, and they probably thought people would buy it.
Yeah, this shit is stupid.
This is actually a reply to burning finger. Game publishers DO give games to so-called no-name sites all the time, it's not just Gameinformer, IGN, etc. They don't give it to just anyone, as you need to establish some online presence first, but you don't need to be a major media outlet to get free games to review.
I think you missed the point. Choices onlymatter for those little sidequests and party members, but they are irrelevant to the big picture.
We know what's going to happen at the end of ME3: humanity and the races of the galaxy will triumph, and the Reapers will be stopped. The point of this article is to ask the question: what if Shephard's decisions (as made by the player) lead to the extermination of organic life and Reaper victory? What if you you killed Wrex in ...
Bubble down. Reason: trolling.
I made it past that part, but it was pretty confusing. I had to do lots of trial and error by just spamming stasis and kinesis all over the place. The game doesn't give you much guidance for what to do there.
I think Skyward may have been facetious. Not being able to run the way you want because the controls suck doesn't reflect very positively on the design.
Some good points, but these weren't my childhood memories, so I feel I've been overcharged $10, which was part of my point.
Not that I would publicly promote it, but wouldn't emulation also be a way to relive those experiences?
I have played ME and it is not one of the best games of this generation.
To be fair, I have only played the first game, so my comment only applies to that one.
Rofl at "getting stuck at benches." Funny shit.
Which game doesn't belong, Smash or MW2?
Mass Effect is mediocre. Decent story but the game itself is boring and amateurish.
Yep, something like this is bound to incense several weekend warriors whose favorite games were just invalidated.
@BakedGoods
Not sure why anyone would want to play Halo Wars on any platform.
