i love sports games. they are really fun.
and the reason i play sports games and not in real life is because i'm lazy and fat. so why the hell would i want to get off my a$$ when i can just sit there and play sports?

graphics cards do not determine graphical power alone, neither do the amount of cores. look at how the 360 and ps3 are designed, very differnt but both capable of killer graphics.
so i would say it is more up to developers the utilize the system vs. what the system "should" be able to do or will be able to do.
that has always been the great mystery. the nba games aren't that bad, but i guess i don't really like nba games anymore so i have a biased opinion on how good they can get.
the show is awesome. so awesom my gamestop had a midnight release for it (well it was primarily for halo wars but they also sold the show and 2k9 last night as well). but whatever.
i like at the end the author added he has a ps3 only to play mgs4, gh3, and blu rays. typical idiot.
first off, why gh3? that game is the same on 360.
secondly, why does everyone think ps3 has no good games other than mgs4? yeah i know sony is stupid and doesn't market anything, but they have some killer exclusives apps imo that nobody in the gaming media even talks about. sad.
its like real baseball - based on timing and zone coverage of the player.
so if you guess the location of the pitch, the batter will focus on that area. depending on the batters skill, he will cover a certain portion on the plate/strike zone (i believe if you hold l3 you can see the actual coverage...not sure though).
so if you time it right and the batter is "looking" in the right spot you will get a hit, just as in real life. also i believe the left...
hope this is just minor details to give us a taste, not the big changes to come.
part of me thinks infinty ward is going to make an awesome game...but another part of me thinks that they will just make cod 4.5 and try to ride the cod 4 wave for sales.

idk i thought the idea of a seamless transition between online game modes is cool and innovative...or the mix and match badge system is neat too, altough variations have been seen before i guess.
bottom line - there are a lot of people (myself included) who cannot wait for this game. but there are even more people, i would venture to say the majority of gamers, who want this game to fail. period.

but i think the matter of opinion was implied...as we all know u cant really say as a fact one game is better than another overall because there isnt a set way to dtermine this...theres no consensus scale or measurement so it will always involve a matter of opinion.
therefore by saying killzone 2 is the best ever and/or better than quake, it is implied that such statement is an opinion since its not possible to be a universa...
i guess i don't understand why people jump all over this guy for saying killzone 2 is the best fps ever made. it is his opinion, and he has a right to it. u can't question that.
if you want to question how much he has played it and/or if he has extensively played all the other fps on each console and pc - then fine question the validation/reasoning of the opinion.

i honestly think what it comes down to is defense of your choice to yourself. kinda like a coping mechanism.

best baseball game period. after the killing of the mvp series, last 2 years of baseball have been blessed with the show.

utilize this feature more. yeah in a full retail game i can go without - usually cuz it sacrifices ffunctionality.
but psn games that use this r a must! i mean y not release a package of simple n cartoony sports games that all use motion control? that would b awesome..some tennis n golf n such.

agree with super stardust n wipeout. excluding disc games, i would at least consider pixel junk monsters, flower, savage moon, cuboid, or bowling.
my fav though goes to the forgotten game calling all cars....it was ign's game of the month for ps3 when it was released.
but how do you determine game of the year? by that i mean i read so many online publications that name their game of the year, and some of them are different.
