I get it and I can see where you're coming from in that aspect. Although the series is heavily military influenced, I tend to take it's interpretation of real life warfare with a grain of salt as the MGS universe is not trying to be Battlefield or COD. It has a more stylistic take, which is part of what make MGS unique.
The game isn't even out yet. It's all speculation as to what she is in the game. As a huge fan of the MGS series, as I am sure most people here are, how is this out of place or any different from what was portrayed by killing/knocking out the Beauty and the Beast Corps from MGS4?
MGS has always had a hint of sexism. I mean they went as far as including posters of japanese models to find and take picture of in MGS2. What's odd to me is that amount of complaining co...
Haven't heard this much crying over a game character and dudes actually saying their offended. The model looks damn good. Real and in CG form. "But what she is wearing in doesn't apply to what people would wear in war in real life." STFU it's video game. If you are distracted by what she is wearing, you are over analyzing. Let the man work.
What they've accomplished is still awesome, and it's understandable if NPC's aren't visible from far distances, but I just hope that they are at least visible from a greater distance in height compared to GTA IV.
"The entire world draws all the time: You can fly high in the air at one corner of the map, look over the miles of city and skyscrapers, over the hills and desert to the furthest ridges of the most distant mountains. It’s all there and visible."
I hope this includes NPC's. What I didn't like with GTA IV was that NPC's and vehicles would not show when you went vertical. Ruined the immersion for me when looking down from a building or high structure only t...
It's been said time and time again.
Gran Turismo = Racing simulator
Forza = Arcade racer
A GT player would easily adapt to Forza. Make a Forza player play GT for the first time and I'm pretty sure they'd suck balls.
If you're over 18 and prefer Forza, it's cuz you either don't own GT or you suck at driving.
I honestly believe that the people who have a problem with Quiet's attire are people who don't even play MGS or not even fans to begin with.
EDIT: This sexism stuff in MGS is nothing new as mentioned by others who know and play MGS. If anything, it's partly what makes MGS MGS.
